Default TEXAS TECH it's all QB nobody else

This QB is just sick. He got a quick release, accurate, and totally controls the flow of each, and every possession.

Graham Harrell will be the #1 player taken next NFL draft, and it won't even be up for discussion.

Also you ever notice that Texas Tech defense isn't that good but Oklahoma State offensive sets just play right into the Techs design?

Oklahoma State needs to stop spreading it out, and using the weak/strong formations more.

Crabtree is "a mediocre player on his best day"???

hahahahahaha

Also, there's this guy named Sam Bradford. I'm not sure if you have heard of him, but he will be the first QB taken in the draft.

LOL Harrell wont even be the first QB taken... I do like the kid though hes accurate as hell but he'll get the system Label and since none of Mike leachs QBs have translated to stud NFL QB i doubt anybody uses the first pick on him. I think MATT Stafford and hell the kid from Kansas State Freeman go before Harrell.

I was just naming QBS but yeah Boston College DT BJ Raji and half of USCs Defense probably gos before harrell ... Any GM who takes a QB who took 100% shotgun snaps in college in the first round should be shot. All these spread QBs I cant think of one who has had success at the NFL level. Colt Brennan did good in preseason.. Timmy chang holds NCAA passing records cant even hold a clipboard in the NFL. Kyle kingsbury from Texas Tech is washing dishes somewhere, Sonny cumbie from TExas Tech is in the AFL. Can somebody help me out and name some spread QBS that did well in the NFL.

Drew Brees would like a word with you

Also, the Pats ran what was essentially a spread offense last year...they seemed to do alright with it

what the hell?

Harrell is really good, but it's the offensive line and the mastermind that make this special.

For whatever it may be worth, Todd McShay has Harrell ranked as the 6th best QB in the draft

If you don't care for McShay, Scouts Inc doesn't have Harrell in their top 64 prospects list (regardless of position)

Harrell's teammate ranks as the top WR by both McShay & Scouts Inc & is ranked as the 6th best prospect overall by Scouts Inc

These rankings were all as of Nov 7 (Fri)

I'd like to see how Harrell and Crabtree both would be without a great offensive line blocking for them. Anybody remember what McCoy looked like for Texas last year?

Give some credit to the big uglies on the line, guys.

Thanks I believe kyle orton was at Purdue as well not sure if under Tiller and the spread I really couldnt think of any but i forget about Purdue sometimes... as far as the Pats spread offense i never said the spread doesnt work im actually a big fan not sure what your point was there...seems like alot of the spread QBs from college dont pan out.

Joe Flacco's looking pretty good. Aside from him spread qb's have been terrible in the NFL...no footwork and limited reads does not prepare these guys for pro offenses.

He's an NFL talent, but not the best qb in the draft. The system, o-line, and skill position players have a lot to do with it.

Harrell will be good in the NFL with good protection. The balls that he didnt complete were mostly drops.

Personally I think McCoy is the best long-term QB prospect, but I know nothing about scouting.

Harrell is good no question about it, but he's averaging 5 seconds to throw the ball. He's good but his offensive line is exceptional.

Tebow is not near NFL level QB yet. He has bigtime work on mechanics and passing in general. They don't run the option in the league. There's a lot of question marks with scouts about him. Plus, he's coming back next year most likely.
