Lets not forget that Houston last played on Sept 27 while UAB last played on OCt 2. Houston has an advantage. Its not like houston needs extra days to get ready for a bad team like UAB.

What makes you think that this game is going to be close? I just can't see it. Houston beat up on East Carolina on the road. Houston is a very solid team and UAB is a garbage team with a garbage defense.

Houston beat UAB 49-10 at UAB last year and they should have no problem scoring in this one! The UH defense concerns me but they should have some momentum off their great performance vs East Carolina (Over 600 yds) and the extra 5 days to prepare! I think Hurricane Ike messed up a couple weeks of their season but they showed their potential last game and they're talented enough to trackmeet schools like UAB! Fear of a backdoor cover makes this a smaller play for me at (-18)! I'm considering teasing the line down which should be more than safe in this one!

Starting wide receiver Frentell Forrest is questionable with a knee injury. He leads UAB with 25 catches for 334 yards despite missing two games. Forrest is also the kick returner and is really good at returning kickoffs. Starting left tackle Willie Thompson, who has started 5 of 6 games this season, had a knee injury in the game against Memphis and did not return in that game. There has been no update on his condition.

Houston has only one injured player, RB Andre Kohn has not played since spraining an MCL against Air Force on Sept 13 and his return this week is doubtful.

Does anyone have any updated information on Forrest's injury?

if houston held east carolina to 24, on the road, i dont see UAB scoring 24, believe it or not, the unda looks good to me, its very difficult for me to lay points on a conference game when a team is favored by this much, uab might just rise up and cover, but Im leaning towards playing the unda.
