FAU's D shuts down Troy???????? What have you seen from FAU's defense this year that shows they can shut down anyone? They gave up a ton of points to UAB for god sakes. You are going to lose whatever money you won on minnesota last night trust me

This game is not even close matchup wise. Troy has come off playing 2 of the better teams in college football and this is going to be like play little leaguers. Nobodys defense will shut down anyone, but Troys defense will stop FAU much more than the other way around. Take Troy - the points, and take the over.....for the game lines and the first half lines. Trust me

I think me and strictlywinners are the only ones on the planet that think this thing is under 51... you have Troy with probably the best defense in the sun belt and you have FAU with a good defense both teams like to run the ball. Think this game will be low scoring and tight. FAU offense looked terrible vs MTSU.

I have been tearing up NCAA as well. To bet FAU here as a home dog with the only reasoning being that home dogs have been covering during the week is no reason.....

Troy has shown that they are a fairly decent team this year, and a team that can score points. FAU has shown that they blow and that their offense is no where near as good as it has been in the past. FAU has won one game, it was a home game in which they gave up a shit ton of points to UAB (a horrible team). Troy will score all over this team, and FAU will score but not nearly as much....

The whole weekday home dog theory is a nice statistic, but no trends are 100% and this game tonight will be the end of home dogs covering during the week

Strictlywinners that's fine and all.....But what in the world makes you believe FAU is the pick. I'm just looking for something. I have not a single piece of evidence that shows they are the play here. Normally I can at least stretch something to make it look like it favors one team, but there is nothing here to even stretch in their favor

I never bet on a college football game yet but I think I am going to place a small wager on Troy -4. will start to look into college football and wagering since baseball season is about to finish.. I need to learn more about these 2 teams though..

You should deffinately start betting college football, it can be soooooo profitable. I'm having a killer year. With the amount of games on every single sunday. There are always at least a few where the line screams out to you as wrong if you have a fair knowledge of the teams and their season

I can't see how anyone would like the over in this game. Anyone who watched the MTSU/FAU game wouldn't touch the over. FAU scored on the first drive, two min in the game, and then managed just two FGs the rest of the game. Their offense looked horrendous. MTSUs defense isn't that good, but it looked world class. Troy scares me though, since I could see that team scoring 40+ points. That's why the bet for me is Troy. I do think the game goes under though, it's just not weighted as high as Troy and I don't need action on both a team and a total.

There is no home field advantage tonite. THe weather is going to be miserable tonite and there is going to be a small crowd. Throw that home dog covering theory out the window. Troy is not going to be intimidated by FAU in this game. Troy will be 3-2 after tonite with a double digit win and knock out FAU from any serious bowl consideration. FAU is going to wonder only if they had beaten Middle TEnn St last week how their season would have been. FAU season was over after losing to Middle Tenn St. FAU might as well give up on the 2008 season.

I went to FAU, and they don't call it find another university for nothing, the crowd will be very weak, trust me. This will only help there chances of winning though. Many places that have small crowds, the opposing team has trouble getting up for the game. Troy will come in there and its going to feel like an exhibition game to them, FAU wins, I'm done posting for now, we can resume this convo when the game is over.

THis is a revenge game. FAU knocked Troy out of a bowl game in 2007. I am quite sure Troy wants to contend for this weak conference and go to a bowl game. If both teams had losing record and there was nothing to play for, than I can see this game as being totally meaningless. IF FAU loses, their season is doomed and is going to feel ike exhibition.

I bought the point as well and have locked in for $200 on Troy -3 @1.77 odds.
The FAU D gives up like 263 ypg through the air...and Troy launches for close to that...they should be able to move the ball all they want...I like Troy -3 and at least getting my money back if they win it by a kicker's leg.
