Pags why you like Mississippi State? I remember last year when State went to West Virginia against a scrambling qb and got drilled! I like the points but then again I have to see how State defense can handle mobile QB'S.

For those not on the west coast, San Jose v. Stanford is the class warfare bowl. Poor school v. rich school and year after year, San Jose State either loses a close one or beats them. Spartans have shown steady improvement and have a good coach. Stanford, as we have seen, is up and down and tends to play to level of opponent. Schools are about 12 miles apart. This looks like a trap for Stanford as they look ahead to rest of Pac -10 schedule.

Yea I did get a chance to look at them both real good. But I do like State to cover because there all defense. I do think that defense is what cover games and not offense. But I can see this game being covered by STATE.

I am just too much of a fan and my judgement gets a little cloudy, but with the Mounties going back to the run I think -3 is worth a shot for good money... Wake Forest is my top pick this week. I can't understand why Florida State is ranked in the top 25.

But my next pick would be Bama. I think Arkansas is horrible this year, but I agree they will give maximum effort this game.

My third pick is SJSt. Kyle Reed is by far the better QB in this matchup and that means a lot in college football.

I'm a big fan of G Tech this year, but that is a lot of points to lay for the kind of team G Tech is. Going to pass on this game but I hope GT wins because I have a good bet on them season wins over 6. I am looking for a 3 to 6 point win, unless Miss St has big trouble with the option.

i may be new on the forum but i can tell you from 18 years of sports betting on almost exclusively college football that when you have 2 ranked teams playing and the lower ranked team is favored (FSU)... NEVER play against that team. i mostly always play dogs and i love pag's picks in general but this is a situation i have been burned on before just an FYI.

i'm also a bama fan but i'll be on ar-kansas as well! GL

What do you think of New Mexico +10.5 at Tulsa! NM won for me outright as a home dog last week and Rodney Ferguson is the real deal at RB! Tulsa may light them up but I think they're the more physical team and may pull an upset here!

have to respectfully disagree with you here...when you have an UNRANKED home favorite vs. a ranked road dog the percentages show that the majority of the time the unranked team has a good chance of covering...however, in this case BOTH teams are ranked and there is no historical trend of either side covering more than the other...GL to you this week...
