I am from the Bay Area and had just started believing the Tedford product after the route of hapless Washington State. Plus, MD had apparently been playing like garbage.

But Tedford did not take his Bears to the steamy East Coast until Friday so no acclimation time to the humidity--that and not showing up to play.

Did you guys just know Cal was soft or that MD was not as sucky or both? Maryland actually looked good most of the game.

Reasons i took maryland:
the kickoff of this game was at 9am PACIFIC TIME. I always like to play Maryland as big dogs, they like to slop the game up, and I thought they could run the ball effectivly on Cal which they did. Also teams traveling across country and laying 15 points is always going to be a struggle. Also a team trying to cover as DD road favorite's 2 weeks in a row is a challenge. just to name a few.
