NORMAN, Oklahoma (Ticker) -- In last week's season opener, Oklahoma's biggest obstacle came from the weather.

The fourth-ranked Sooners figure to face a tougher test Saturday when they host Cincinnati in an interconference clash between schools from BCS leagues.

Using a new hurry-up offense, Oklahoma (1-0) crushed Chattanooga, 57-2, in last Saturday's season opener. The Sooners jumped out to a 50-0 halftime lead and outgained the Moccasins, 487-36.

Sam Bradford tossed two touchdown passes, Chris Brown ran for three TDs and DeMarco Murray rushed for 124 yards and two scores for the Sooners, who were facing a Football Championship Subdivision opponent for the first time since 1999.

The only thing that slowed down the Sooners was a 72-minute delay forced by lightning storms that rolled in during intermission.

Rolling into Norman this week is Cincinnati (1-0), which is coming off a 40-7 thrashing of Eastern Kentucky.

Dustin Grutza passed for 296 yards and a career-high three TDs for the Bearcats, who outgained Eastern Kentucky - another FCS opponent - by an overall margin of 557-195.

Saturday's contest will mark the first meeting between Oklahoma, the reigning Big 12 Conference champion, and Cincinnati, which went 10-3 last year and won the PapaJohns.com Bowl.

Does Cincy still have same QB from last year?

Not the same QB but he has plenty of game experience over the last couple years and is serviceable. UC has a very good defense. They won't win but I certainly think they will stay within the number.

I live in cinci ... The Cats have been practicing in the stadium this week with crowd noises cranked up to 100% volume to get ready for the game environment when they visit the Sooners.

Havent decided if im betting either way, but just a lil info for anyone out there wanting an extra reason to go Cinci.

I have as much respect for Brian Kelly his Cincinnati team as I do for any team out there...that being said, I'm not going to get in Oklahoma's way here...no opinion...
