No it's not, becuase everyone and their grandma is on UConn. This is when you go the other way.

I agree, it does appear that a lot of people are on UCONN, but I just hope you are not pulling the trigger on UM for that reason alone. It makes no difference obviously. I decided to lay off this game, but GL.

Im on the uconn side of this one this is a team last year that won in South Bend so they have proven they can win big road games. Also Mich. is going to be running a 3-3-5 which when Uconn faced that D last year against WVU a team that has been running that D a lot longer then Mich. and who probably has more talent. Uconn put up 500 yards against WVU in that game and if not for the 3 picks thrown by Endres and a late long TD run by Devine they probably win that game which was also on the road.

I got michigan on this simply from tradition and talent, Mich has been training hard all offseason, preparing like no other. Its do or die for rod, Michigan will give uconn all they can handle imo...

But either way itll be a great game!!

It's going to be a close game but Rich has been there for 3 years now and he has finally got his own team in there. I think they are perhaps the most motivated football program this year because they have got a lot to prove! UConn is motivated too but I just think Michgan is going to have a lot of things going in their favor this year.

I'm leaning Michigan. On paper, UCONN looks like the easy choice, but in front of 110,000 fans I think Michigan finds a way to ride the home field advantage. Reminds me of the Pitt/Utah game last night. Pitt looked like the pick in that game but I remembered a valuable lesson in betting: always be weary of an unranked home team favored vs. a ranked road dog. Home unranked covers more and the public usually sides with the ranked team. Luckily I just took Utah ML b/c I didn't trust the 3.5 chalk. So I think Vegas is begging us to take Uconn here so they can take our money, I'm siding with the Wolverines. GL.

ESPN Veteran College Football Analyst Beano Cook said he thought Michigan would win 38-14. He really believes Rich Rod will have the troops ready. Take that for what you will.

Really leaning much cuz of what's already been said but this is a tough one to pick. I just know rich doesn't want to lose at home first game of the season AGAIN and has been preparing for this one

I think I'm going to roll with Michigan myself. I feel they have more talent than UConn. I don't see another Season Opener Lost like a few years back.

uConn is an excellent team. Michigan won a whopping 1 game last year in the big 10. Ucon 39-Mich 14. Dick Rod needs to polish up his resume.

placing a bet against a team that can't figure out which qb will start is one thing...backing the team with that problem, is a problem...its UCONN, and they will lead most of the game.

UConn is who I'm playing, but with so many games on the board, why force a play based on your perception of the public's perception?
