I can't argue with any of those plays, CG, but maybe the Navy play. Navy is a better bet whenever they are dogs and reading the reports I have been reading since July, Friedgen is placing a LOT of emphasis on this first game as if it was the most important game of the season for Maryland. In many ways it is . . . . .

Ah, my favorite college football forum hater. Good luck this season Serbone. You will notice many posters already have their plays in. Hell I think BigDaddy had his in awhile ago. Sometimes if you wait on a line the public pounds it and it has no value. I admit I could have waited on Purdue, I could see it going the other way. But I saw the +12 and think it will be good enough.

If you are going to post previous lines, you should post the dates that you made the pick sand the book. NO one is going to buy your "Local" stroy. It's the oldest stroy in the books.

As far as your picks go, I am also on Navy. I think the Colorado-Colorado State game under is rather iffy. When you hae two bad teams playing each other,it is hard tofogure out what the out come may be. Past history tells you that these teams ave gone over 7 out of the last 9 times, I beleive.

Your Oklahoma line is totally and completely unbelieveable. The line has not been -29 since August 5th. Are you trying to tell us that some phantom Local is giving you lines that have not been the same for 20 days now? Totally unbelieveable. You are going to have to do much better than that. I am calling you out on the OU line. Do NOT try to sell stories about some local giving you lines that are nowheres close to the real lines. Sorry, but your OU line is B.S. and you know it.

You can choose to believe me or not, I really could give a shit. Here's the thing, since I use a local (and it's been common forum knowledge for some time, even taped my call and posted it if you wanna look it up smart guy) I post the best line I can find on SBRodds.com when I post my plays for tracking purposes only. If they didn't update the site, I don't control that. Look at the WSEX line right now on sbrodds.com it still says Oklahoma -29. The K State line is -2.5 or 3 everywhere now, but the other day when I posted my plays one of the sites had PICK so I used that line. It was my mistake to not look at the line history for each site, so I will compromise with you BD.

Since I think both games will not matter, I will adjust my lines to suit you. If Oklahoma only wins by 31 I will call it a loss.

I like Navy quite a bit today, but am trying to straight bet based on the week and not go heavy on games later in the week in order to chase if I am behind. Went 4-2 this week with a small profit so far. I think this game could be competitive for awhile, but I see Navy pulling away later. When they have that run game working a defense it really shows in the second half.

I am seeing some strange line movement in the late game:

Boise was a 2.5 point favorite, out of 48,197 bets on pregame.com (they track multiple sports books) 56% is on Boise and the line has moved the opposite way and Tech is now favored. This could mean a couple different things. Either there is HEAVY money coming in on Tech or the books are trying to trick you into thinking there's heavy money on them. Keep in mind this is just from the books that this particular site offers and in no way can be conclusive by any means. Just something I use to track things on gameday. I don't pay a great deal of attention to moves of this sort unless there are only a few games going on a particular day. This is the site if anyone is interested:

VT is the play. Ryan Matthews ran for like 300 yards vs BSU last year and Ryan Williams is just as good if not better with a better OLline. Fresno gave up 50 points though, VT will not. 60% of the public on Boise and line goes from VT +2 to -2.
