Another tough game, don't know what teams will show up. we'll go with 31-28 late FG wins this one

Getting points in this one is a gift. What do they play before the Preakness, Maryland, My Maryland. Let Oregon State prove me wrong on this one, but I think Maryland will win this game. I see Oregon State turning the ball over a few too many times and costing themselves in this one.

I used to live in Maryland (right next to College Park) before I moved to SEC land and this is my feeling for this game. Maryland loss three of their last 5 games. They were a beat up team suffering injuries during this time. Good thing about this bowl game it gives them 5 weeks to heal mentally and physically. I see Maryland going into this game as healthy as they have been all year. Oregon State has to adjust to losing their top WR and they are still adjusting to finishing the year with their back up QB. Maryland is better on O, but OSU has a shutdown D. Head ball coach Fridge has been unstoppable in his last three bowl games (Bet y'all dont remember that 41-7 thrashing he gave to West Virginia in the 2003 Gator Bowl!). Fridge will have the D ready against an OSU offense that TD/INT ratio this year is 10-20. They are going to win the turnover battle and I'm riding out with Fridge and the 4.5 points because at the end of the day, Maryland is going to win this one outright.

Again, same situation with the Champs Bowl. You have a team in OSU who won their final 2 regular season games as an underdog. This means pretty much automatic fade in a bowl game.....It's one of the most profitable trends in the bowls.

This is the first bowl game where the favorite (by 5) covers. Oregon is a quality pac 10 team and should beat down a good atlantic team.The Beavers are playing well and look to continue doing just that against a Maryland team that matches up poorly against them. Maryland strength is rushing offense. Oregon State strength is rushing defense.

I only have Oregon State at a -1 in this one. So I would have to lean toward Maryland +5.5, and the OVER 47, because I have the total set at 49.

going for a score, qb throws it away, but instead of throwing it into the dirt, he throws a blooper and it's intercepted by the terps. play's under review, but looked clean . . . like I said, OSU doesn't seem to wanna walk the date home . . .

Amen brother. I have a pretty big wager on OSU ML so I'm hoping they can take over in the second half. The QB is God awful, though.
