I like VA Tech to take BC down and Airforce to beat NMEX outright. I think BC has been a little overrated due to the wins vs. loss record. BC has beat Wake Forest and GTech which are good wins but I think VA Tech takes them down at home. The half point bothers me so I will buy it to make it 3 if it is there at game time. Hello everyone, this is my first post so I hope I dont dissapoint. Ive been hearing alot of VT talk even though they havent proved much this season. Take LSU out and they played a pretty weak schedule. IMO, the freshman QB isnt that great in the pocket and is one dimensional as a run threat which leads me to my 1st point.
1) VaTech cant throw the long ball so there will be no game changing plays on offense.
2) BC is only giving up 46 rushing yards per game.
Also, Beamerball is famous for swarming defenses and special teams which I respect. I just dont see Matt Ryan giving up too many turnovers.
The home crowd always plays a part in Blacksburg so they get 3 points for that but I see BC having something to prove to the nation and going in Blacksburg and coming out with a SU win.
I am taking the *BC ML +135 for 1 unit*

VT DEFENSE IS SOLID, however MATT RYAN MAKES FEW MISTAKES.
325 yards rushing allowed (1st in ncaa) 445 next nearest team.
19 INT (1st in ncaa)
vs a very poor VT offense

I had a lean on Virginia Tech but I am just going to pass on it.

Why does everyone say BC is overrated ? They have 16 starters back from a team that went 10-3 last year. 3 losses all on road by a combined 12 points. Was insane how they started year unranked all because their coach left.

I guess I am the only one on the over for the BC/VT game.
Here's my reasoning:
VT allowed Duke to score 14 points in their last game even though it was a road game for them. BC's offense is way tougher! Look at VT's two games against ranked opponents this season.. they allowed a total of 71 points in those 2 games!
BC's defense is pretty good.. but look at who they have played. I don't think their defense will be able to hold back the VT offense in atmosphere of Blacksburg, not to mention both offenses will be super-pumped due to this being a nationally televised game.

I just saw this post. I have VA Tech - 2 1/2 and VA Tech / Boston Coll UNDER 42
I also have Boston College +9 1/2 and Fresno State +9 1/2 on a 2 team teaser.

Yeah they should not have won that game. The hookies stopped them all night. They had more yards the last 2 possessions then they had all night. That games blows but at least the under hit. It was horrible weather.
