I don't Sonny about laying that ML...Sure Boise has a strong homefield, but SoMiss is no slouch they could easily pull an upset. In my opinion, a bit risky.

I'm leaning toward a bet on Boise State to cover.

SoMiss' best win has been a close one on the road against E. Carolina. Tennessee beat SoMiss pretty good, and ran for 4.9 yards a carry on them.

SoMiss has to travel a long way to Boise, and will find themselves in a nearly foreign country, on a blue field, thinking they are hallucinating. An obsessed, hostile crowd will be going nutty. That excellent Boise State running back (name escaping me -- the one who proposed on the sidelines after the bowl game last year) will run wild.

My prediction: BSU 42 SoMiss 7

yea, BSU and the blue carpet is going to be hard to beat, and SoMiss is on a 3 game road trip and I feel that is going to ware on them.
Only thing I got it at -10.5. It's starting to move. still good!

The more I think about it, the more I like it. Boise State must be hungry. Hawaii is getting all the attention in the WAC. Don't get me wrong, I can't stand that blue filed. It looks like my mousepad. And I certainly have nothing against Southern Mississippi (Brett Favre and all), but I'm afraid the Golden Eagles are walking into a buzzsaw on this one.

When I first saw this game I thought I might make a play..... BSU should be strong at home and I thought this line would move more than it did.... but there is something about this one that may keep me from playing it. I would play BSU if I had to.
