Default Good luck on your bowl plays. Some simple bowl rules to making $$$:

Hungry teams often have excellent value. Last year it was Texas tech playing a demoralized Calif team as a 12.5 dog. Texas Tech beat them straight up as the hungry factor cashed.

Coaching wins. Take a look at season openers and how teams played after having two weeks to prepare.

Simple offenses. You are probably saying huh?? But teams like texas Tech that have complicated offenses have a big advantage in the reg season when teams only have a few days to prepare. But you give a defense like Bama's a month to prepare and they will read every play.

Big dogs tend to get dogged. Stay away from physical mismatches. Northwestern and high scholastic teams will not match up well against the Miami's of the world.

Texas Tech has a much simpler offense than people realize -they only run like 10 plays, just out of different formations. Very good advice regardless. Also, the old mantra, play dogs in December, and faves in January, never is a bad thing to listen to.

    Great post John.

I hope everyone dont get caught up in the Bowl season, and just bet to have action on the games. The bowl games can be very profitable, and also put you in a hole before the new year if your not careful.

    i disagree john

coaching doesn't always win. the players have to excute the plays. in order for that coaching to win. and, from what i've noticed in recent years. i've seen some upsets.
