Brice Brown Quits Tennessee
Brice Brown, the highly recruted RB that can not make up his mind, quit the Tennessee football program. According to HC Dooley, he will remain at Tennessee for the spring semester. Brown was going to join his brother at Miami, but chose Tennessee, where he played as a freshman. His brother has since left Miami, and enrolled at Kansas State. Brown cited "oersonal and family reasona" why he left the team. It is beginning to look like the entire family is one big head case.

This certainly does not help Tennessee. I think that they may drop down to #4 in the SEC East. Florida certainly is ahead of them. I think Georgia is and South Carolina may have passed them.

This kid was a mess from the beginning. Not surprising he was appealing to Kiffin.

Aparently he will eventually play somewheres else, but where is not known. Like I said earlier, his brother, another head case, transfered from Miami (FL) to Kansas State. Maybe he goes there to join him. Since he is still enrolled at Tennessee and attending classes, there is always the possibility that he changes his mind and stays there. Rumors are flying all over the place. USC is included in those rumors though USC would be a bad fit for this kid.

Agreed. This is just about worse case senario for a team that is already wounded by the departure of their former HC and other assistant coaches. They lose a lost of starters and depth on the OL, their QB, and now this. For a team that had major difficulties scoring last year, this does not bode well at all.

No doubt that Brown is a talented player, but there is also no doubt that he is very unstable. Aparently both he and his brother can not stand being far away from home, because his brother transfered from Miami (FL) to Kansas State. Now this. He will probably end up at Kansas State, like his brother did.

This doesn't hurt the Vols' backfield. Tennessee has some hungry running backs, and Brown wasn't special.

If Dooley keeps him, he is crazy. This kid is a head case. Just like his borther. It runs in the family. Dump him now. He is no good for team chemistry.

This guy was way overrated coming out of high school just like his brother and seeing te events that have played out recently, I think tennessee is better without him.

Yea. Right. What are you? Some kind of seer? Or maybe some kind of nut case? You may want to try posting when a thread is relatively new, not waiting 10 days to do so. Now he may do more with his life than you do with yours, but he has no chance of equaling my accomplishments, even if he does play pro ball.

Brown was very highly rated coming out. He didn't get much PT though because of Hardesty stepping up and becoming a star. This whole thing does seem kinda whack but he could still turn out to be a star.
