ZBOIZ said LSU would be in the top few.....
not even in the top 5......there is no homer that knows less about his team in the history of sports.

LSU had a slow class this year, but next year class is on the verge of some big time recruits. The 2011 class should be top 3 for sure. The state of Louisiana for the 2011 class is unbelievably talented.
but when did I say LSU will have a top 5 class. Hell they are top 10 out of over 100 is that good enough ?

No 5 star recruits for LSU. They finish behind both Alabama and Auburn in my consensus. A good class, but it does not help if two teams in your own division of the SEC finish ahead of you.

hahahah oh now its next year? Get a life. You said next year LSU was going to get a top 3 class of recruits if not number 1 and you guys were going to be a serious contender.

Actually LSU is doing well in the 11 draft, but as Georgia found out, that means nothing right now. The fact is that Miles is a terrible coach in the clutch, and his team has no chance of winning the SEC West in the forseeable future. And the fact that Miles could not a single fie star recruit, and only 12 four star recruits is not a good sign.

BigDaddy I think you are being a little dramatic on the 4 star and 5 star thing. The star system is so overrated its no even funny.

I agree, but the fact is that most 5 star recruits are much better than 3 star recruits. LSU looks like a team that will have major problems in the SEC West as long as Miles is the HC. I think that even you can agree with that. Miles is certainly one of the worst coaches in the SEC. He is no match for Saban, Meyer, or Richt. He has not defeated Nutt in two tries. Bobby Petrino is doing a better job at Arkansas than Miles is doing at LSU. I expect LSU to lose potential recruits if they do not have a great season. The first game in Atlanta against North Carolina will tell us a lot. LSU should be able to blow this ACC team that lost 5 games last season. If they lose, they are going to be in for a very rough season. 4 losses is certainly not impossible with their schedule.

Very tough schedule, and 4 losses are not impossible.. But i see them only losing 2.. If Miles wants to keep his job, he better not lose 4 this year..

to be honest Bigdaddy I wouldn't mind them having a bad season. It will be better for the long run. That way Miles will be gone and we can get Bo Pelini back, or TCU coach!

I totally agree with you Z. Miles has been a major disappointment. I think what really hurt LSU is when Miles was able to win the NC with a two loss team. That gave him and the school a false impression that he knew what he was doing. How many schools win the NC with two losses? Very few. I think LSU would be a much better team with any of the coaches you named.

I think that none of this talk about the other SEC west teams will matter as long as Saban is at Bama. The guy went to the NFL as a pretty damn good coach, got humbled and came back to a much better program in Bama and has flat out dominated the West and is now arguably the best recruiter/defensive coordinator/head coach/ CEO in college football.
ROLL TIDE!
2010 we win again!
