Had a big year playing these college totals, going 39-19 on the season. I've been a little conservative in the bowls, but have still managed to go 6-2. Early on I indicated that I loved the TCU/BOISE total to go over 54- and I played it as my first double unit play of the season.
I bet it early thinking that the line would climb higher. On that count I was wrong. This morning at Bookmaker it was 53 and is currently at 54. I'm guessing that the reasoning is that Boise is going to have a hard time moving the ball on this Horned Frog defense. Last year these two squads hooked up in a bowl game and TCU prevailed by only 17-16.
I'm holding my ground on this one. The last time Boise St. was a 7 point underdog in a bowl game, they stunned Oklahoma 43-42 in that famous "hook and ladder" game. I expect them to likewise put up a fierce fight tonight. Coach Peterson is extremely creative and QB Moore is talented. They're going to use all the tricks in their book in this one and I do believe they will be able to move the ball through the air.
The Horned Frogs will also score aplenty.
This one is a DOGfight and the total goes OVER.

I heavily agree with the over, and I have put 5 units on it, which is my biggest play in about a month.

Do you just do totals or are you predicting the outcome? I would like to hear your input on that as well. I am leaning BSU +7.5

I do better with totals, no doubt. I personally lean toward the underdog Broncos.....but can't help but notice that a lot of top handicappers are on TCU. Of course, Lang is on TCU also.....and he's almost always wrong. I guess, in short, I'm confused and will only play the game to go over. A gun to my head....? I'd take the points.
