UConn sucks. i know I've been slamming on ncaa hoops but not winning on ncaa football except for that Navy under call.. but I watched a lot of UConn football this year.. they are weak. South Carolina should be able to manhandle them .. i went big on SC.. just my 2 cents...

SC has a GREAT defense, plus they like to pass a lot which will expose the shitty secondary of UConn.

I really like South Carolina in this one. I am not positive what it is about the matchup that is giving me this feeling, but we all saw last night how the SEC/ Big East matchup played out in the Sugar Bowl.

South Car needs to make amends after last season's bowl debacle vs Iowa. They beat Clemson in season finale and should be coming in with a ton of confidence. The Big East can't match up vs the SEC as shown in the Sugar Bowl.

S.car bad o-line vs aggressive uconn pass rush.The extra time to prepare should help the gamecocks-also uconn without lb Lloyd(90 tackles) Huge HF advantage to the gamecocks. Uconn playing with emotion for fallen teammate howard.

The reason why the line is moving toward Uconn is simple. They are very solid football team with two really good RBs. Todman is a freak! Guy runs a 4.3..and is very difficult bring down. Then Uconn hits you with Dixon..big, solid, north/south runner that has the speed to take it all the way..every time he touches the ball.

S.Carolina's offensive line has had trouble this year. And Uconn's front seven isn't to bad. Uconn is weakest in the secondary. But S.C cannot throw the ball. So..believe it or not..this two teams are evenly matched.

With that being said, Uconn's QB is very suspect and cannot throw the ball down field. You can't be one dimensional vs S.Carolina.

I like the gamecocks to winn a tough one by a TD. 17-10 SC

I like South Carolina as well. Their defense should shut down UConn. The only problem is the SC QB is a turnover machine, often for touchdowns. Spurrier should just rein in the QB and let his defense win this game. But we know that's not his style. If the QB doesn't implode, I see SC winning this easy.
