Default Georgia Tech vs. Georgia +7

Just a couple of reasons why I would recommend taking Georgia.

    1. This a revenge game for Georgia who lost at home last year 45-42.
    2. The outcome of this game will not affect GT's season.
    3. Play on road underdogs of 3.5 to 10 points that are coming off a loss as a double digit home favorite after the first month of the season. This situation is 36-12 ATS (75 percent) since 1992.

#3 was a stat I used when picking Notre Dame vs. Pitt (which in case you forgot, ND covered). Matt Fargo is the OP of this stat and I updated it with the ATS victory for ND. Last week Georgia was a 10 point home favorite last week vs. Kentucky and they lost SU. Now they are on the road and getting 7 points, so according to this stat, there is a 75% chance that Georgia will cover. Just a few things to consider.

Dude, your crazy... UGA's defense is trash x2. They are one of the most penalized teams in CFB. They're poorly coached and lack discipline and they're going against a GT team that thrive on teams that aren't disciplined that play poor gap protection, etc.

Last years UGA was much better then this year and this years GT is much better then last years. What does that tell you? Forget about revenge, look at the players. UGA QB will give GT the -7 all by himself. GT for me or no play.

I agree with Mac4lyfe. And I am georgia alumni and love the dawgs. But this team this year is an embarassment. They don't take care of the football, make idiotic plays and penalties, and are poorly coached. Paul Johnson had two weeks to prepare for the bulldogs. Give me that against Willy Martinez any day of the week. Vegas has this line very wrong and I think it is because traditionally people think Georgia is the stronger team. That isn't the case this year and it pains me to say that. Georgia loses this game by at least two touchdowns.

Georgia should not have been a 10 point favorite to Kentucky. Erroneous line invalidates the trend. Plus I distrust trends that go back more than ~5 years.

Also any trend that involves the first month of the season or any other superstitious trend is an auto-discard for me. Trends based on situations are much more predictive. For example, away dogs after a home favorite loss is a much more predictive trend; but that trend is not being used here - the start of month filter makes UGA falsely seem appealing.

GT by at least 2 scores.
anyone depending on a trend for UGA to cover doesnt follow the Dawgs.

    cant wait for this one
Gtech has had problems with sec worst
    Vandy and Miss state
Acc is much weaker than sec
this should be a great show case how to bet the other acc vs sec matchups
    clemson vs south carolina
    florida vs fsu
    leaning all sec
georgia is definitley better than wakeforest
add a Rivalry game to it
i hope the line goes up

    GT beats UGA
    Clemson beats USC
    Florida beats FSU

I don't think you will be able to read much into those outcomes. The ACC will probably win 2 of the 3 games but that doesn't mean they're the better conference.

Please define "had problems". GT racked up 479 total yards and 42 points against Mississippi State and 597 yards and 56 points against Vanderbilt. GT beat Mississippi State by 11 and Vanderbilt by 25.

I agree with you, those game were close for the 1st half but then GT pulled away, like they normally do. The fact is that Georgia makes dumb ass penalties and plays, doesn't protect the football, and is poorly coached. Match that with a team that doesn't get many Personal foul penalties, protects the football in one of the more dangerous offenses out there, and is well coached, I will take that any day of the week.

SEC > ACC yes, I agree.
    dont mean jack shit though.
SEC is traditionally a strong defensive conference but that doesnt mean UGA has a strong defense.
I believe UGA is dead last in just about all defensive stats this year in the SEC and they havent played an offense as explosive as GT.
