Teams script the first 15 plays of the game most times so teams will score on their 1st drive. I think its around 50% of the time teams score on first drives

Utah State ran the ball very efficiently there. They needed an answer and thats why they scored quick. Now the coach has showed his team they can compete and you'll see a physical run game start to chew this clock on their next possession.
