    Why any reason those coaches would leave their current programs to go to ND is beyond me.

    Urban Meyer favored? I don't see why he would want to go there for! He will stay in Florida where it is warm year round.

    didn't Meyer go to Notre Dame? That + tons of money + no more Tebow and friends and I could see how he'd leave.

    Meyer is a midwestern guy. He has said more than once that Notre Dame is his "dream job"----he even wrote about it in his biography.

    In the book Meyer says "I wanted to go to ND, but my wife didn't think the timing was right".

    Meyer was an assistant under Lou Holtz at ND.

    Meyer grew up in Ohio and is a devout Catholic. I think he would go if the time and situation was right but he has a great gig out in Florida at the moment.

    I think it is going to be one of these four...

    Kelly, Meyer, Stoops, or Chris Petersen at Boise.

    Don't waste your money on UM. He's not leaving UF, yet. Don't bet on Chip Kelly either. He's actually very low on their shortlist.
