    Default Riggs Return's to NCAAF

There are a lot of games I have my eye on this week, haven't posted CF plays since week one, when I got slaughtered. I lost confidence and took a break, but I'll be posting plays from now until the Bowl games. I'm looking foward to hearing any advise or alternate positions. Thank's gentlemen!

    NCAAF Plays: Saturday - 11/21/09

KENTUCKY +9 - Is my "Play of the Day", way too many points here for a good Kentucky team and a lousy Georgia team to cover. Georgia is banged up on both sides of the ball, as AJ Green and Rambo are out! Georgia is not a very good football team, and without AJ Green (their best player) they're even worse. Kentucky is winning games on defense and on the ground, and if you've watched Georgia at all this year, you'd know that Georgia can't stop the run. Kentucky is a good road team as well. Freshman quarterback Morgan Newton is a capable backup for Hartline, he's more mobile and their passing numbers are essentially identical this year, it's not like Hartline was having a good season anyway. They beat Vandy and Auburn on the road without Hartline, and they're 4-1 overall without him in their last 5 games! He hasn't played since the South Carolina game, and the Wildcats haven't missed a beat since.

INDIANA +3½ - Indiana continues to get no respect, this is a talented football team that contends with just about everyone they play. Purdue put everything they had into that MSU game last week and still came up short. Getting +3½ at home is a gift (imo). Indiana wins this one straight up!

NO ILLINOIS PK - This line is off, Northern Illinois is a very good football team. Ohio is very inconsistent from week to week. Ohio really struggled to get wins over Ball Sate and Buffalo, not to mention that they got dropped by Kent St. NO Illinois has played good competition - their losses are against Wisconsin 28-20, Idaho 34-31, and Toledo 20-19. The Huskies have won their last 4 games. There's a reason this line is a pick em at Ohio, because NO Illinois is a better football team.

NORTHWESTERN +7 - Way too many points at home. Northwestern plays the run very well and can throw it accurately all day long. They run a fast pace offense, and I think they'll wear out Wisconsin a bit in the 2nd half and keep it close.

CONNECTICUT +6 - Where in the hell did they get this line? Why does ND warrant a six point spread vs. a tough UConn team that is much better than their record would suggest. Line is off.

AIR FORCE +10 - Air Force has an excellent defense, this is a big Rivalry game, and ten points is a lot. BYU looked sluggish their last time out and nearly lost to New Mexico. Air Force has yet to lose by more than 7 points this year. The Falcons will keep this one close!

TEXAS TECH +6½ - This line is screaming please pick Oklahoma, please!!! Tech will get up for this one vs. a team that is plagued with injuries. Beating a banged up Oklahoma team for Texas Tech, is still beating Oklahoma. I'll take the points.

ARIZONA U +6 - Oregon is a good football team but they're not that much better than Arizona, they're certainly not a better coached team. Arizona should have won last week at Cal, they may be a bit drained, but I think they'll get up for the Ducks. I'll take the home team and the points here.

    Thanks,

Any thoughts on the games HoulihansTX?

The Air Force is an interesting play. They have had a successful season ATS (6-3-1), but have been a disaster in their last 5 games against BYU (0-5 S/U and ATS). 10 points seems like a lot though. I can see why people would take the Air Force.

Northwestern-Wisky was one of our "middle" games. When the line came out, Wisky was -4. We knew that Northwestern gets no respect, and figured that the line would jump. It did. We have Wisky -4 to Northwestern +7.5. This game means a lot more to Wisconsin than it does to Northwestern. 7 points seems about right.

Northern Illinois vs Ohio is about as even a game as you can have. Both teams are 7-3 S/U and 5-4 ATS. Both teams have looked good in some games, and struggled in others. The game is at Ohio. Too close to call, and definately too close to wager on.

Ok, thanks for the input! Air Force has impressed me this year, I have to admit that I didn't see this team being as strong as they are. Northwestern plays great in these roles, how many times have we seen it before? I'm still convinced NI is the better team here. GL

Wisconsin was my initial lean...Fitzgerald is a hell of a coach though and his players really buy in...saw it down the stretch last year too. I made a ton of money on NW last year. Might be a good play. I'll take deeper look, and well as Kentucky. I have decided I like the over in the Purdue/Indiana game better than the line. GL this week Riggs, and I am glad to have ya back. I assume this is due to your current bankroll from your NFL plays!

Riggs you have stolen some of my thunder here. I was holding off posting a couple of these. Northern Illinois has a lot on the line. If they win this week they keep hope alive to win the MAC West in a showdown next week with Central Michigan.

I've stolen enough of your CF plays this year I figured it was about time to post my own, hell, I'm a much bigger College fan anyway! College > NFL

Good analysis here, NIU is a solid team. I've watch the Huskies several times this year and they're a very well coached team, for a MAC team that is.

No opinion, I never play totals and if I was to give you a side it would probably go the other way.

Gun to the head, I'd take the over! Which means it'll probably stay under.

I would stay away from the NIU Ohio game............ The line is right where it should be.. NIU only beat Ball St by 6 ohio won by 3. NIU LOST to Toledo who is awful. The akron game was closer then the final score on the backdoor cover with 20 seconds left. And they struggled vs. Miami Ohio. Ohio isnt perfect but they are also playing for a chance to go to the MAC championship. They play Temple in the final week and if they win out they play CMU in the championship. Ohio at home with the RLM im all over Ohio

LSU +4.5 - The Tigers are the more talented team here no doubt and 4.5 points is a lot. Ole Miss looked great vs. Tennessee, that's clearly why the line is set where it is. LSU has been in every game this year, and without a few bad breaks, could have beat Alabama. Ole Miss has been mediocre this year, Snead hasn't impressed me at all and if it wasn't for McCluster they'd be a .500 team. Take the points, the Tigers probably take this one straight up!

STANFORD -7 - I'm not in love with the line here but I think Stanford has been on a mission these last three weeks and I just don't see a let down here at home vs. a very overrated CAL team. How impressive is Andrew Luck? Best young quarterback out there, NFL scouts are already in love with this kid. Toby Gerhart is a f***ing animal, this guy is so fun to watch, he runs over everyone. Gerhart has already compiled 1,400 rushing yards and 19 td's. If he wasn't White he'd be in everyone's heisman discussions, talk about reverse racism! Stanford by a comfortable margin.

TEXAS A&M -5.5 - Baylor comes in as a very unpredictable team, they'll compete one week and hang around, but then the next week they'll get f***ing destroyed. The Bears are inept offensively, they can't sustain drives, they can't convert 3rd downs, and they really don't have any big play threats. Baylor can't stop anyone on defense either. Texas A&M is pretty schizophrenic themselves, but they're at home and they can really pour on the points, as they have plenty of play makers to get the job done and they're a good redzone team. This number is small enough for A&M to get the cover!

    NCAAF Week 13 Plays

Western Michigan -10 - The Broncos are a much better team than what their record would have you believe. What a brutal schedule this team has played this year, 7 games out of their first 11 were on the road, the 1st two at Michigan and at Indiana. They've only played 4 games at home this year! This team has a lot to play for here, at 5-6 you better believe they want to finish WITH 6 WINS for the year to have a shot to get in a small bowl game, and to cap off the season on a positive note. That's not all though, Tim Hiller is a nasty QB and a hell of an NFL prospect. The guy stands 6-5, 235 pounds, talk about a prototypical frame. He's thrown for nearly 11,000 yards and 100 td passes in his career. Last home game of the season to shine and make his case to the NFL-Scouts! What does Ball State have to play for here??? I'll tell you, absolutely nothing. Ball State is garbage, if they show up Tuesday night, I'll be f***ing shocked. Western Michigan is the play!

    Texas A&M +22.5

    Kent State +4

    Virginia +13

    South Carolina +3

Georgia Tech -7 *Play of the Week!
