The line was bet down to 14 all over Vegas. Not only is Central Michigan undefeated in the MAC West, they have failed to cover in only 1 game, and that was by 1 point. Ball State has won 1 game this year, a two point win at horrible Eastern Michigan. Technically, Ball State is in a bad position, having gone 1-4 ATS at home against Central Michigan, and 1-4 ATS before the Western Michigan game. Central Michigan is in good shape technically, having gone 9-1 before the Northern Illinois game, and 10-1 after scoring 35 or more points against conference opposition. While some may think that Central Michigan is looking forward to next weeks game against Northern Illinois, it is still hard not to like them at -14.

You could make a case for CMU the same way by pointing out that they average 15 pts. a win. Bottom line.... a record of 7-2 ATS on the year and 5-1 ATS in conference games is proof enough that CMU is the bet.
By the way anyone thinking the OVER looks like easy money needs to reconsider....in the last 6 road games CMU has went under 5 times! Also, in the last 4 home games at Ball State the under has hit 3 times. Look for a 31-14 CMU win.
