Does stanford count as a let down as they just beat USC and oregon?

Not in my opinion. I usually would deem a team primed for a Let Down after one upset. After 2 upsets, it becomes more of a trend.

Add ohio state to the letdown spot list. Tough win against a very physical iowa team last week. I dont like michigan very much, but i might consider taking them at +12.5 this weekend.

Not sure if Virginia at Clemson is really a look ahead situation. Virginia kinda just sucks (also +20 on current line). If anything, do you you think it's a look ahead for Clemson vs South Carolina? Clemson has the five game win streak going on too.

I don't think Cal will have a let down because it's Standford. They will lose because Standford is a better team.

Maryland is just a bad team. The line is 19 now from 17, it'll be higher by Saturday.

Cal's biggest rival is Stanford. No way will they let their guard down. However, Jahvid Best will be out again and Stanford has lost the Axe (the trophy) 4 out of the last 5 years. I can see Stanford taking out a little revenge...

Cal and Stanford not a letdown for either imo. Rivalry game.

You have Cal-Stanford competely reversed. Cal ended up the favorite in that game, so there was no upset. Stanford is coming off two straight upsets. This is a huge rivalry game that featured the greatest play in college football history. Neither team lets down in this game.

I agree with the UNC let down. I am a UNC fan but they have been playin pretty darn good the last few games. I have to be let down sometime soon. I hope not, but hoping is not believing.

Oregon plays Oregon St. see above ^

    Revenge

    Memphis
--- Lost to Houston by last sec FG (last year). Plus have the undeniable 'Nobody Believes in us" Motivation since long time coach was fired.

    Fresno St.
--- Lost to LA Tech by a last minute TD (last yr). Also hearing that Pat Hill may be getting fired, which equals extra motivation.

    Stay Away
    Game

    UConn/Norte Dame
--- Too much motivation on Norte Dame's side, as they want to prove they aren't overrated. Also Weis's job is on the line, and the players that have been recruited by him want to win for him. I feel the forum believes UConn can win, but truthfully they havent beaten any of the good teams on their schedule. And when playing those good teams, they have failed to stop the opposing teams strengths on offense. So Norte Dame should be able to pass on them.

Good info with the letdown, look aheads, and revenge, but I disagree with you on the UCONN/ND game.

Uconn will win that game outright IMO, they are tougher, got the better d, better coach, and have more heart.
