    Exclamation Texas @ Baylor . . . Thoughts

Texas is a big favorite in this game. Texas is 10 - 0 SU while going 6 - 4 ATS the last 10 games played. Baylor is without thier star qb Robert Griffin for the season and they have struggled to win games. Baylor beat Mizzou last week in a wild game that saw no defense. Texas failed to cover against UCF (-35) but I believe that Texas will dominate on both sides of the ball and cover.

The real reason why you do not play this game is because Texas is a lock to go to the N.C. game, aslong as they keep beating the weak Big 12 foes that they have left. There is no way Mack Brown risks anything just to run up the score. It does not matter if Texas wins by 1 point, or 100. All they have to do is simply win. Because of that, Texas becomes a bad wager in a spot like this. You had also better check your states. Texas has only covered 3 games this season, not six. They lost their first 3 games ATS, failed to cover against Colorado and failed to cover last week. Throw in a tie with OU (Texas -3) and their real ATS record is 3-5-1 this season. They have only played 9 games, so I have no idea where you get Texas is 10-0 S/U or -4 ATS.

That should read 10-0 S/U or 6-4 ATS.

"Texas is 10 - 0 SU while going 6 - 4 ATS the last 10 games played" I meant when playing against Baylor. You are right about Texas only covering 3 games all year. I did not complete my thought when originaly writing this post. Now that I have seen a lot of posts against Texas I will not play it . . . thanks

Got it. Texas has owned Baylor, but as you can see, the point spreads have been so huge that 6-4 is the best they can do ATS.

I lean to Baylor + the big points. Baylor was looking for a big year, QB injured and out, took awhile for new QB to get going, started to "click" vs. Missouri. IMO home team will be jacked up, keep it close for awhile; Texas bored, waiting for big games ahead.
    Baylor + 23.5, "small" wager.
