    Default Three Saturday Plays!

Look for Western Mich. to flaunt a high powered offense and shut down Kent State at home. I think that they are a much better team and this game may have been overlooked.
+2.5 is the best you can get for this so jump on it now!

Houston has had a year to remember and is looking to show the country why they are the #1 offense. With a QB in the heisman hunt and everything going their way. they are easy -6 favorites for giving the golden eagles more than they can chew or peck.

K State at +28 is a fantastic play but get it while it's hot because that line will fluctuate like a bitch before game time. K state has looked to prove themselves throughout the year and now has the chance to make it close against a team who has a injury softened QB in Bradford and has shown me very little promise

These plays are the VERY BEST that they will be so now is the time to grab them if you are leaning in this direction.

    Once again, go with
    Houston -6
    K State +28
    Western Mich. +2.5

You have been watching football this year right? Bradford isn't the QB (shoulder surgery and entering the NFL) and Oklahoma hasn't shown promise? This is the same qb and defense that should have beat Texas and just destroyed a ranked Kansas team. People please don't take Kansas St. As far as the line fluctuating....it's only going to go up. Get on OU now at this point or risk giving up 30 by kickoff.

This is the same team that lost to a flat Texas team and you make my point exactly. Oklahoma does not have Bradford and the offense has not looked like typical Oklahoma. They will win this game, but not by a stifling margin.
They beat Kansas by 3 touchdowns, and the game was closer than that first half. No one got destroyed

Good advice, don't take advice from a die hard fan. But the fact is I'm not a die hard fan and won't be betting on this game. I have capped easier games than OU/K.St. Bottom line.....Texas was flat due to OU's D, Kansas was allowed a trash TD in the end, (btw the spread was -8.5 in that game) and K. St. was beat by Texas Tech 66-14 so OU could easily win this 45-7.
If I felt you were wrong about your other two picks I would say so. Just because my ID says 'sooner' in it doesnt mean I'm not capping this game with my head. OU wins this by 5 TD's. Write it down and get back to me after the games over.

it's either OU or no play... I've been to quite a bit of OU games and OU in Norman is UNSTOPPABLE.. They have only lost 2 games in Norman this decade and love to run up the score at home.

They will beat the living shit out of kstate this weekend

Id avoid KSU at +28. I dont even like them teased to +38, and i'll usually take those type of tease plays all the way to the bank. OU, even without bradford, is a dominating football club. I wouldnt ever bet them not to cover in home game. avoid this one.

I graduated from OU in 2007 and have been to quite a few home games as well.

OU is dominant at home but 28 points is a lot to cover with this OU offense. This is the second worst offense Stoops has had.

I expect OU to win easily but I'm not sure they will cover the 28. If I had to make a prediction I would say OU wins by 17-24 points and I wouldn't be surprised if it was closer.

my thought is that's absolutely a ton of points against a team with a prior "absolute genius" coaching that looks like it's really starting to find its groove.

frankly, i'd be inclined to take the 28 points even if KSU hadn't perked up recently

OU won @ KU by 22 points and beat Tulsa @ home 45-0. Kstate is worse than KU or Tulsa. They are one of the worst teams in the big12. think about it..

Are you nuts? K-State has a better conference record than Oklahoma! K-State is not worse than Tulsa and has not played either KU or Tulsa so that is only speculation.

And once you get into this whole thing where you compare teams who beat teams who beat teams and try to figure out if they beat anyone who beat anyone who beat the team they are facing currently, disaster is likely..

NC State beat Pitt, Pitt beat USF, USF beat FSU, FSU beat BYU, BYU beat oklahoma. Therefore, NC State would clearly beat oklahoma.
