Yeah I was thinking this is the pick also. I would like to hear more insight from anybody else that thinks Memphis has a chance at covering this. My only problem is ECU lost to SMU on the road a couple of weeks ago. ECU doesn't seem that great on the road tthis year but then again Memphis just seems pretty horrible all around. I would like to hear from others before I place a bet.

Yes, ECU did indeed lose to SMU, BUT that game was a fluke in my opinion and I'm not just saying that because I like ECU. I watched the entire game and it was like watching an ECU team I have never seen before. They could not do anything right and were playing like shit on every team: offense, defense, and special teams (blocked kick, come on now, that never happens to us, we usually block the other teams). We won't play that bad vs. anyone the rest of the season, that's a promise.

SMU is better than Memphis period. The ONLY thing Memphis has going for them is one good quarter vs. OLE MIss when they surprised OLE miss at the beginning of the season.

It's up to you, the line is at -5.5 now so not what I got but I'm still thinking of placing a points bet with the -5.5 line.

Yeah bro, sorry I hadn't checked this thread lately. Even though I wrote that last post, I still got ECU at -4 right after that....so I had enough faith in them....they covered easy.
