Hey i just joined this site today. Last week i discovered it for the first time. It proved to be very helpful on deciding which games to eliminiate and that i was indecisive about. I played a similar card to you last week Dbldown so I was interested to see your picks for week 9. I love USF and Duke. UVA home or no home they lucky to beat any team by a touchdown. I originally Had virginia tech -13.5 this week. Do you think that is bad idea?

Glad with any help I can provide. If I had to play that game I would play Va. Tech -13.5....but sometimes their offense just doesnt show up to games so I am hesitant playing them. I don't like playing big favs unless I feel really good about them (like Texas and UCF last week....and NIU which lost those bastars haha)

West Virginia is one of those highly overrated teams that we've seen this year that gets too much credit for playing a crappy schedule and everyone overvalues them. That will become evident on Friday night when W. Virginia gets rolled in S. Florida.

West Virginia has beaten Liberty, East Carolina, Colorado, Syracuse, Marshall, and UCONN. They lost the only real game theyve played to an average Auburn team by double digits. They beat Liberty by only 13, Colorado by only 11 UCONN by only 4 during a tough week for UCONN, and were losing at halftime to Marshall.

S. Florida is going to win this game big after being beat up on by the two best teams in the Big East....They'll show they are the 3rd best team in the league on Friday

I can't beleive we missed lining up on a single game. Well with the exception of a possible play on Iowa St. As many games as we are working on and none will aline. Crazy. I still have about three more write-ups to do but don't see us on any of the same. What this means is we can both go perfect on our cards. Gotta have faith.

Well Iowa St and SMU were both plays I really wanted this weekend. I needed a couple of good dogs to mix in. The overwhelming number of favorites covering are starting to drive me nuts. Two years ago I would be rolling in high silver right now because I never met a fav I didn't like. Now trying to be all like sharp and stuff I am leaving alot of square plays in the waste basket.
There is a crash coming and the dogs will rise up and show their wrath I can feel it.

MU Soph QB Gabbert is top notch but has a VERY bad ankle, was in walking cast 2 days earlier this week, it is off now and he probably will play.

He should not have played last 3, hurt early in Neb game. But # 2 QB kicked off the team and # 3 is a walk on... so they keep him in there.

Gabbert has NFL potential, not just size-arm-speed but brains, work ethic, and can throw with "touch", too.

If he gets healthy later in the yr, I plan a BIG move on MU.

But don't bet MU yet. This week I lean to CU if they do NOT start CU coach's son.

My big pick this weekend is probably going to be Central Michigan +5.5 against BC. Trust me..BC played there best game of the year against N.Dame and lost. C. Michigan is going to win straight up. I'm going to bet the moneyline a little too!

I'm no longer going to post here.....and this isnt a ploy to have people tell me how much I'm appreciated or crap like that. But there is just very very very little usefull going on here anymore so it's pretty much just a waste. To those that actually try to give usefull info and engage in good solid debate (You West Va. backers are included in that) it's been fun. Time to move on though I believe.
