I booked Iowa at pick. I like Stanzi and their tight ends can really make plays. MSU just has not impressed me overall. If Iowa can win TO battle, i think they walk as road victors. Just my 2 cents

Iowa great road team , Michigan State ehh
in the wisconsin match up Iowa was able to hold wisconsin to 200 less yards allowed to Michigan state , Iowa stopped a vey impressive penn state rushing team , in penn state at penn state , That being said if you like this game you should like penn state , Michigan has one of the worst rushing defense in the nation and again its in Penn state , sorry but ive fellthis way from the start if i liked one I had to like the other one also (IOWA/Penn state )

I like iowa a lot here. MSU has been very competitive, but iowa will prove to be too tough. Home field isnt enough to give MSU the nod here, as iowa plays well on the road. Sure the penn st. team they beat is over-rated, as is the entire B10 in my opinion, but iowa really showed some grit against wisconsin (and won me some $$$). I like iowa SU here. tease it and get 7? all over it. I'm betting that even if they lose, it'll be by a smaller M.O.V than that. BOL

A few thoughts. Should be a great one. Will be great to see it in person!
When looking at the matchup statistically, the one thing that stands out with Iowa is how well they do in turnover margin. Sometimes that is a stat that can continue on thru the year and a team can ride that, other times that catches up to teams.
Any team that won AT STATE COLLEGE and AT CAMP RANDALL certainly has earned a great deal of respect.
MSU if #1 in the Big 10 in passing offense, Iowa at the top in passing defense. I think both teams will have a very hard time running the football. I think it will come down to Stanzi vs. MSU's weak pass defense. That is they key to the game, IMO.
* I wouldn't feel safe betting against Ferentz and a team with those two BIG road wins.
* I wouldn't feel safe betting against MSU at home on a Saturday night. MSU is 11-3 in their last 14 Big 10 games with only one of those losses (Ohio State) coming at home.

iowa run game deadfull against wisc. however wisc dominated m. state and it was alot more of a blowout than the score indicated. My play is iowa -.5.

Game is State's if they can protect the ball...but Cousins has thrown some terrible passes this year and Iowa is an intercepting Machine. Do love the home field though...

I like Iowa until they lose a game. Iowa sure looked good against a decent Wisconsin team last week. I think they could handle Michigan State.

just for the record..I'm more worried about Mich St than Wisconsin....

you can still correct your wrong course of action. You know this. There is a reason why Iowa's coach is mentioned every year for head coaching jobs in the NFL.

MI St. Is good but not good enough against that tough Iowa D. Good luck running on Iowa and wow what a scare against Nwesterns good D. This will be a good game but Iowa will win I dont care if they play the game in Bangladesh or East lansing Iowa to win May consider over 42

FWIW, Kirk Cousins is Michigan State's starting QB. He has started every game in which he was healthy. Cousins had an ankle issue so Nichol played in teh Illinois game. However, they have rotated QB's in every game where the 2 are healthy. Nichol is still questionable for Saturday, he is a dual threat guy that will play a few series on Saturday if he is healthy. MSU is #1 in the Big 10 in passing offense, mostly due to Cousins and a great set of WR's and TE's. Originally Posted by Ralphie1412
