    Default Georgia/Vanderbilt

I'm all over Georgia in this one, but looking for some thoughts from Vandy backers. And not really looking for things like...."Vandy usually plays Georgia well" because frankly Vanderbilt is BAD this year, and Georgia is down defensively but can score, and I don't think Vandy can keep up with that.....They lost to army.....ARMY

I seem to remember a lot of people saying Rutgers has played Pitt well in the past too, but it didnt matter cause Rutgers sucks this year. So any real thoughts on the game I would love to hear. Thanks

Im on Vandy bro. Georgia looks like a real downtrodden program. They lost bad last week, got shitted on by the refs in the LSU game, and I think Vandy puts them put of their misery at home.

Vandy frosh QB cannot throw, he is strictly a runner. Georgia "D" will not be as exposed, can focus on the run.

Georgia is still going to make a ton of mistakes but they should beat Vandy...maybe they'll be able to run the ball today. 16 turnovers i think like 5 take aways -11 turnover margin I dont like that and last in the SEC rushing. dawgs ML in a parlay... Richt/martinez dont f\*\*k me here this is a game UGA should win!!!!!

Yeah he did look poor vs army... hope thats the story again because if Vandy watched the Vol/uga game tape they know UGA has no answer for the play action QB roll out... Georgia got killed with that play over and over again.

Georgia may be down man....but vandy just lost to a bad army team...and couldn't score on them

UGA plays down to bad competition and cant cover a line for shit. Quit betting on the UGA name of years ago. Mark Richt sucks as a game time coach. Yes, Vandy is a horrible team but UGA is a horribly coached team. This is a coin flip game. Fuk UGA

True.. going to be a tough game Myron Lewis is a solid CB no doubt he'll be locked up on AJ Green somebody else has to step up.

stay away game for me. if you follow the SEC than you know Vandy is always up for this game no matter how bad they are.
Vandy is always bad, thats just about a given. I dont like looking at the past to predict the future but the shoe fits here.
add to that the fact GA is in shambles now without production in the running game and an offensive line that isnt living up to expectations.
GAs DBs can make anyone look good right now. Just look at Crompton, he is shit and you'll see it the rest of the year agaisnt average defenses.
I expect GA to win and it'll probally land on the number. Linesmakers got this one right where it needs to be at 7.
1 or 2 bonehead plays by GA and they might get upset.

UGA is something like 3-15 ATS since last year. that tells you all you need to know.
And I'll say it again, Richt isnt the problem its the assisants. WM will step down at the end of the season. Dont know about Bobo but he needs to go too.
Compare Richts record to the legedary Vince Dooley. Richt is a top tier coach.

no he hasnt said it, just a gut feeling I get from reading blogs.
David Hale mentions it in his blog, the most informative blog on the net for GA football.

WM and Richt go back to playing at Miami together so Richt would never fire him. But everyone close to WM says hes a standup guy and would step down for the better of the program.

I keep hearing people say this but I judge a leader not only by his ability but his ability to surround himself with the right people. Martinez and Bobo's been bad a long time ago and Richt has let his personal relationship get in the way of winning. The UGA mess is ALL ON Richt IMO.

With the talent UGA has had over the past few years, they should have had at least 1 MNC. I don't compare coaches to other coaches in different eras. Richt has had better players than Dooley for the most part IMO.

Played Georgia in a teaser, but I'm hesitant to lay the points. I'd look at teasing it or taking the ML.

I think WM is putting his best scheme out for any given game, but they're getting torched. alot blame needs to be on the players for missing assignments. But WM ought to see the zone isnt working and try something else. But if they cant cover their area in a zone how are they going to cover man. Reciever are catching the ball with no defender within 10 YDs of them.

I'm no Xs & Os guru by any means and wouldnt have a clue what the best scheme would be for any given team.

a point David Hale makes is that all other teams in the SEC evolving. the offenses have changed over the past 5 or 6 yrs, now ya got all the spread and wildcat copycats etc... Richt hasnt brought in a coach to combat the changes and I guess WM doesnt have the intelligence to evolve.

so was Richt a great coach when Van Gorder was the DC and they were only giving up like 13 PTs a game? You surround yourself with great coaches and than the rest of the country sees it and offers them a better job.
Bobo took over the playcalling last year.
I agree about the personal issue with hiring someone you've been friends with for decades or hiring UGA allum. Theres alot of that in the program. and Richts taking the heat for it right now.

2 yrs ago they were in the same position with 3 losses and everyone calling for WMs head along with questioning Richt and they went on to win out the rest of the season including beating FLA, and finishing in the top 10 in country.

it wont happen this year but just a thought.

teasing this game for ga , might be the safest pick of the year. They would have to turn the ball over 5-7 times for a vandy win.. tease ga or take ml, and you have winner its thats simple.

2 years ago they should have won a ntional championship. That was another piss poor year IMO. UGA are a bunch of underachievers and that points to the coach.

They just scored a TD but they still look like shit IMO. Horrible Vandy is competing with them so far. I won't be surprised if UGA wet's the bed here.
