Default Trying a Bowl system in the regular season

System is 20-4 in bowls the last two years.

    Here's the original thread:

If we applied this system to this week's games, here are the plays (lines from Greek):

    Colorado State +22.5
    Oklahoma +3
    Minnesota +17.5
    Colorado +10
    Alabama -17.5
    Marshall +21
    Missouri +7
    Western Michigan +6.5
    Tulane +17.5
    Nebraska -11
    SMU +7
    Washington +7

I am going to play this slate this week and see what happens. If it fails, it fails.

Updated Colorado line to +10 (available at Bookmaker). All plays locked in now.

I saw this last year during bowl season and it worked very well. But isn't it a little early, since the data is not as reliable 1/2 way thru the season? I would hesitate to pull the trigger this early IMO.

good luck... i love systems. i think the data would be fine and meaningful now, but not sure about the concept. not sure i understand what the concept is. i understand the rules, just not the underlying logic.

First of all, it's probably too early to try this. As for the logic, I guess maybe the linesmakers giving too much credit to untested teams vs tested teams.

I think the reason this has worked well during the bowl season is the abundance of public money coming in on untested "name" teams. Not sure if we will get that affect during the regular season. Also, there is a good chance that the initial success of the system is purely coincidental.

I would not recommend anyone to follow this system this week. I played these games small...I have only $540 tied up in all 12 games.

Good luck. I think systems and numbers are the best way to go with football.

I like most of these picks.... except Oklahoma.
I'm going to put in a 10 team parlay for $10 and see how you (we) do!
