USF vs. Cincy ???

I am leaning USF.. any reasons not to? WHO YA GOT?

NoT ALOT of reasons I can write out for you to change your mind, but I have seen both teams play this year and I said weeks ago cincy will go undefeated this year so I am sticking to that. Cincy is a much better team than fld st which is the only team south fld has beat all year at home, I know cincy has not beaten any powerhouses but did go to oregon st and won wich is much harder place to play than some weakass south fld. Go with the best QB . Pike is money

i like USF as home underdogs on a thursday night game vs. a top 10 team. but i can't lie, i will not be betting on this one. nothing really jumps out at me about this game so i'm just going to wait till saturday. BOL.

last year, an unranked Cincinnati was the home dog looking to upset the ranked USF on a thursday night and they did just that, walking out with a win. this year, USF is the home dog looking to upset a high-ER ranked Cincinnati team.

I got usf +3.5 early for .5 to win .45 because i just felt like the hook on the field goal was too much.

now its -2.5 and I have trouble picking my own ass lately, so I took cincy at that number 1.1 to win 1.

I'll just be glad with a little bit of cash no matter what happens in this game. hope cincy gets the miracle 3 point win.

Getting to the game itself, I see that you guys have dreamed up just about every reason to back your picks, including false stats, incorrect stats, and who knows what else. This game features Cincinnati, who has owned their opponent, South Florida, in there past 5 meetings (5-0 ATS). South Florida has two wins against FCS teams, and has not played a team over .500 yet. South Florida traditionally goes in the tank at this time of the year. Kelly is 10-1-1 in this situation. What is there not to like about Cincy?

usf backers remember the kicking issues been watching delbert alvarado choke on fgs for a couple of years now hes 1 or 4 this year .... the other kicker 2 of 5 both under 50% fg made

just a little heads up. I hate betting against mobile QBs but can't bet agains Pike guy is big time, Brian kelly with an off week to prepare he'll have something ready for mr daniels. Going to be alot of pressure on on Daniels to make plays i dont think USF is going to have a good day running the ball vs that Bearcat front. Jacob Ramsey 7.7 yards a carry Isiah pead 5.8 yards a carry this tells you the o-line is getting it done up front ... people the team that can run that ball and that looks to be Cincy is the team that wins more than not. remember USF beat one legit team and florida st is far from being the old florida st that is all... not impressed with having the top d vs. wofford, western kentucky, charleston southern, and syracuse. Im impressed with a 10 point win at osu though a tough place to get out with a W. already locked in on Cincy ML Cincy 31 south florida 20... By the way Coach levitz or how ever you spell it is terrible at making in game adjustments i found this out that year when they were #2 in the country terrible.

talk about useless stats. What else can you drum up from past years teams? This is this year my friend. Kelly is 10-1-1 in this situation? What situation is that exactly? Playing an undefeated conference foe on the road in a nationally televised weeknight game? I HIGHLY DOUBT THAT. Talk about false stats. Plus they've owned S. Florida (5-0) ATS in the past 5 meetings? You realize the spread is something Vegas sets right? And past Spreads covered in past years mean nothing in regards to this game. S. Florida has 2 wins over FCS teams? What's your point? Theyve only played two and both those wins were on the road. One of them to a ranked (at the time) Florida St. team. AND you didnt mention that Cincy themselves only have 2 wins against FCS teams my friend. Rutgers and Oregon St.

S. Florida hasnt played a team over .500? Big deal Cincy beat Rutgers who is only over .500 cause theyve played Howard, Fl. International, Maryland, and Texas Southern, Rutgers is terrible (as you'll see tomorrow night). They won at Oregon St.....a mediocre team at best. They beat Fresno St. at home....probably their best win, but they arent better than S. Florida. AND they scored less points on Miami Ohio than any team besides Kent St. and Northwestern. AND gave up more points to Miami Ohio than any team besides Kent St. and Western Michigan.

Cincinnatti is HIGHLY overrated at #8 in the nation and will lose this one on the road tonight

Having Joe Tresey as def. coordinator of the bulls, the same postion he held under Brian Kelly the last two years, might give the bulls the edge they need.

Last night was fishy and didnt need to be bet on (so I didnt). This night has A LOT of value in taking a team that has performed as well as their opponent this year, only they are at home and an underdog

The South Florida team that has been legit the last 3 years has been legit due to QB Matt Groethe for the most part as well as the solid leadership of head coach Leavitt...Take one man out of the equation and you are missing a huge part of this teams offensive unit... Groethe is out for season and the inevitable drop off in offensive prodution begins tonight in a big way... Everybody is looking over the fact that S. Fla. lost a future NFL QB with a solid track record against top notch top 25 teams (5-0) and has had to replace him with an unproven Freshman (and yes beating Florida State and Syrause still leaves you in the unproven category this year).... I can't believe nobody else is focusing on this point!!! This is like John Lennon without Paul ** still trying to make this Beatles thing work.....It aint gonna happen... At least not this year....5-0 is bs when you play these types of teams early... There are many 3-2 teams in the nation who are much more solid this year and a #20 ranking is so far undeserved...

cincy is the real deal this year (until WVU beats them)... They didn't beat a shitty Rutgers team, they absolutely DEMOLISHED a Rutgers team that will very likely end up 7-4 or 8-3 this year... They solidly beat an Oregon St team that has had one of the most impressive home reords in the P10 the last 3-4 years, and tonite they roll on SFla...

Cincy has played really well in all 5 of their games so far. Tony Pike has been playing as well as any QB in the country and the job that Kelly has done replacing over 90% of his defense has been extraordinary. When Grothe went down for South Florida, I think people jump to the conclusion that they were done. However, Daniels has shown in his 2 starts that he is capable of handling the workload. Although the Florida State win doesn't look as good as it did at the time, it still is a big step for that program. Their defense is the real deal only giving up around 9 points a game. While there schedule hasn't been brutal, that's still pretty impressive. Cincy will give them there biggest test by far though tomorrow night. Their offense is capable of hanging big numbers. If history is any indication, the home team usually wins these Big East midweek matchups. With that said, I'm leaning to South Florida +3. I think the crowd will be a big factor in the game and the kids will feed off of it. Pike and Gilyard will connect for a big play or two but I think South Florida's defense plays tough and the Bulls come up with the outright win. Good Luck with your play.

I LOVE Cincy...............but then again......South Florida has some MASSIVE FAST BROTHERS running around on the field.

Don't get me wrong.........but I think I will play South Florida due to those really quick big GIGANTIC BROTHERS running all over the place.
