Stronger play, Ohio St. (-14) or USC (-10)?
Both great plays, but I give the edge to Ohio St. (-14)
Thoughts?

ND is the correct play.  OSU and USC are both PUBLIC teams and betting on either one can be hazardous to your bank roll. |

I would take USC.
Richie you're just completely wrong in your statement. 67% of the "public" is on Notre Dame....Notre Dame is as public as they come by the way. And the line in the game has dropped from -11 to -10 because of it.....So what are you talking about?

I didnt mean USC was a public team in this particular match-up. Take your Trojans as double digit favs with a freshman QB on the road. I havent even booked a play on this game yet, USC wins by no more than 7 but prob 3 and if they straight up lose I wouldn't be surprised at all. And 67% is barely a public favorite.

Your acting like thats my entire basis for not thinking USC covers, this will be a close game bottom line I dont care if nobody had wagered on USC for a decade I still dont think that USC Offense is good enough to cover a 10 pt spread in South Bend.

dude I was refferring to your original statement (which you conveniently forgot to quote, do you work for FoxNews?)....the one where you were giving your opinion. And I'm not upset, I was just pointing out that you were wrong in that original statement that's all. If we are here to discuss picks and such then it's only fair that when someone is wrong it should be pointed out so that people arent misled.

no....when I originally responded to your FIRST post stating that USC was a bad bet because they were a public team AND NOTHING ELSE
I simply stated that in fact this week Notre Dame was the public team....AND when they' arent playing eachother other they are both public teams.
Then you made one other point that they have a rookie QB. Big deal. But anyways that's not how all this got started

So now you just take statistics......then change them randomly?
64% of the people betting on this game are betting on Notre Dame. yet somehow that equals only 54%? You do work for FoxNews don't you? And if not you should get hired with that kind of math.
Look plain and simple the public team, or the public bet is the one with the higher percentage. 64% is on Notre Dame. not 54% "in vegas eyes". They keep 10% of the wagered amount from juice if that's what your weird math is getting at, that has no effect on how many people are betting a certain team.
Vegas wants as close to 50/50 money on every game as possible, so to say that they consider 64% on Notre Dame 54% is stupid and makes zero sense. we actually don't know how much money is on a certain team. But can assume that more money is Notre Dame since the line is dropping

Your a joke. Matchbook has ND -110, if they cover +10 they are only paying out 54% of that 64% with very few exceptions. and where did it say I take strictly stats?
