Florida St. also lost a clost one to Miami (pretty damn good team), Beat the shit out of a BYU team that was ranked #7 at the time and lost in a shootout to a solid Georgia Tech team.....

I think Cincinnati's Bob Diaco has shown himself to be apt in game-planning against an offense such as South Florida's that will mainly rely on the quarterback to be both a mild passing threat, and the main one in the running game.
I watched some film of his Cavalier squad against the likes of Josh Nesbitt (in a winning effort against GT) and Tyrod Taylor, and it appeared to me that his units were more than ready to stay in their lanes, not over-pursue and were able to turn their backs to the QB often when man-coverage was necessitated.
While Tressey may not be so privvy to Cincy's gameplan tonight, he does have a solid system to go along with a lot of team speed in the front-7.

Cincys defense gave up more points to Miami Ohio than Boise St. Kentucky, and Northwestern COMBINED
