POST BAD WEATHER REPORTS HERE- lets make some money
hey two weeks in a row midweek games Missouri/Monroe had horrible weather, which resulted in easy money for the under.
SO!!!
IF ANYBODY HAD SOME WEATHER INFO FOR GAMES THIS WEEK BUMP THIS THREAD, SO WE CAN MAKE SOME MONEY IN THIS DAMM RECESSION. LOL
So far there is a storm front on the east coast, it could affect some games. im gonna do some leg work and i'll post if there is anything. The faster we find out the better Lines we get =)

looks like the computer models are predicting high winds and possible rain for the pitts vs. rutgers game. It'll be a close call if the rain will move out by 8 but the winds should still be gusting at around 15-20mph. early lean at the under for this one

I live in Tulsa and will keep you guys updated on the weather for the Tulsa-Boise game..
We had a little rain last night and it's cloudy at the moment.

ANOTHER GOOD IDEA IS TO SEARCH FOR LIVE WEBCAMS IN THE AREA, THAT WAY YOU CAN SEE FOR YOURSELF.

i was watching the pregame and saw nothing on the weather i was on the under already but damn when they finally showed the conditions about 2 minutes b4 kick i was gonna load up and didnt get the bet in in time

Smartest post I have seen here in awhile. 
Most posters announce their magnificent picks with much aplomb but do not provide any rationale, trends, stats, injuries, weather, key matchups, RE: why they are taking a team... so WTF is the point?????

I'll be pre-gaming on campus a couple hours before the game and will try to keep you guys updated..

okay guys, i spend a few hours looking at all the forecasts for this week. northeastern games will have rain and windy conditions. LOOK FOR MD, CT, and esp. PA for bad weather conditions. im gonna do a teaser & str8 bet for all games affected for the UNDER.
PITT/RUTGERS predicted to have horrible conditons so get you bets in early before the line moves.
thanks for the props guys! people have told me i was a smart guy...lol i think its just common street smarts.

There was a light drizzle on the drive home from work 30min ago and might continue on and off throughout the night so don't count on anything worse.. the weather will NOT be a significant factor in tonights game at Tulsa

dam i really need to find a new sportsbook. Bodog is killing me. they wait till the last minute to post the lines and now the over under on the pitt vs. rutgers game is down to 48 already and it's still not avaible on Bodog. Plus they only have half the lines up. somebody help me out with a better sportsbook. |

Like the idea flateyes, but how often are weather reports wrong this far in advance? Just because it is forecast to rain doesn't mean its going to affect the scoring outcome.
Last night's game and the Nebraska game were very heavy storms so that was a good angle but make sure you are factoring in each teams' tendencies to run/pass as well.

sorry i was referring to john morrison and BetUs. they have a deal together. jim morrison is the guy who supposedly cracked how to win consistently. just google him or search on this site. you will find plenty of information on him. |

well thats easy. don't use the link given to become a chaser and sign up directly through BetUs 
thats what i did and i get some better lines than BJ and 5Dimes
but i will say this after reading some stuff. some, not all, lines are .5-1 point lower before you log in. but some like the tx/ok game are spot on before and after you log in.

LOL! update to my BetUs post:
me: why is it when i check the lines before i log in they are always .5-1 point lower than when i log in? for example i just checked the rutgers/pitt game for 10/16. before i logged in i checked the line and it was 3.5. after i log in it was 4.5. can someone please explain why this is?

Bodog does the same thing. In fact, quite frequently I will get a line .5-1 point different than a friend of mine, when we are signed in at the exactly same time. it all depends on what "server" you are on, according to them. apparently they are claiming that each server balances it's action separately, but I think that's B.S. I think they monitor your betting trends and move certain lines accordingly. I play Dogs a lot more often than my buddy for example, and invariably, whenever I have a line that's different from his, it's in a worse number for the Dog. Maybe I'm just paranoid, but it just goes to show the advantage if having 2-3 different books available so you can shop the odds.

just took a look at the computer models and appears there will be no rain for gametime. winds will be gusting around 10 mph. at a line of 46 at my book over is the play now. get it!!!
