Default Ark St./UL Monroe Weather Report

    http://www.weather.com/outlook/event...ball_teamsched

I'm guessing that it will be a shitty night from the standpoint of weather. The Spectator Index was graded out as a (1). That is the lowest score, which stands for very poor conditions for fans in the stands. It doesn't say it will rain, but the report hints to a wet conclusion tonight.

My OVER lean looks very treacherous now. I drew my conclusion on the game B4 looking into other circumstances, like a square.

But I've seen games that have lots of scoring, due to poor tackling, CB's not being able to make cuts, and lots of slipping and sliding on the defensive side.

Does anyone live near this game? Do you have an accurate report of the weathers potential impact on tonight's game?

I live about 2 hours from Monroe and it has been raining here all day. Forecast shows there is a 95% chance of rain to night in Monroe. Thunderstorms at that. From what my friends in Monroe are telling me..there is a chance the game maybe we rescheduled..will keep you informed

The more important question is...how much will rain effect this game?

Will it effect the passing game? Will both teams opt out to stick to running and avoid the risk of sloppy passes and interceptions?

Or will this weather be conducive to a lot of turnovers?

    I'm leaning towards the under...

Under 53? Making that wager now...

It's hard to say what the weather will do to an over under. I remember a West Virginia vs Auburn game this year - the over was set at 54, once word got out about the rain it dropped to 51.5... the final score:

    Auburn 41 West V 30.

If its raining hard, the teamthat has de edge is the team that can run the ball better and have the better defense, so I dont know which team has the edge here.... I think Ark St has the better defense, but the better running game?
    Any opinions?

Forget the weather. Arkansas threw a real scare into Iowa. Take the under 53 and Arkansas as a pick.

Hard to say unless you look at the run defenses that ULM has played. But based on numbers alone ULM has a significant advantage 208.6 to 162.8. Although ULM played two of the worst rush defenses in the Sun Belt conference in FAU and FIU. FAU allows 225.3 rushing yards per game and FIU allows 245 rushing yards per game. Against FAU they ran for 157 yards and agains FIU they ran for 304 yards. They also ran for 345 yards against Texas Southern. Those two 300 yards games really padded their average. For the record Arkansas St allows 106 rushing yards per game.

Arkansas St allowed the following rushing yards in their 3 big games:

    Nebraska: 136
    Troy: 134
    Iowa: 124

I'll be surprised if ULM gaines a 100 yards on the ground.

Arkansas St has played Nebraska, Troy and Iowa in three straight games. Arkansas allowed 38, 30 and 24 respectively in those games. ULM has played Arizona State, FAU and FIU over the past 3 weeks and allowed 38, 25 and 35 points.

Would that not indicate that a pick for Arkansas St and the under is the play?

IMO yes. Especially if you factor in the weather.

The under and Arkansas St. would be the play here. It's supposed to rain all night there. Bad weather game has been working pretty well for me. ASU Vs. Georgia/Iowa Vs. Penn St./Central Michigan Vs. Buffalo/Nebraska Vs. Mizzou, all bad weather all went under.
