guys I almost wrote that I was wrong about this team , but i guess when you load 9 in the box in weather like that everyone looks great , but dry weather this game is a blow out , but thats great for me I will get a bargain on missouri now next time , and Missouri beleivers just will still be in denial , but I will say missouri is definitely tougher and better tacklers than than I gave them credit for , but they sure didnt play that against nevada
I was so aggrevated knowing that Nebraska was a far superior team and I was gonna get screwed cause of the weather on a play I made Tuesday....luckily the rain died down in the fourth and the truth came out.....Mizzou is lucky that weather was like that for 3 quarters otherwise they would have been thoroughly embarassed
It wasn't the weather. It was the horseshit play calling by Watson (NB OC). He refused to run the ball in the 1st half and when he did it was from the damn shotgun. They were eating up chunks on the ground but refused to commit to it because they would get a stupid holding call or call a stupid run 10 yards behind the LOS that would lose yards. If they would have just lined up in the I they could have moved the ball all night. They were trying the damn run and shoot in a downpour. Add that their special teams blew chunks and Mizzou wasn't beating them, they were beating themselves.
This was a classic game of not having to get cute. Just smash em in the mouth and let your defense do the rest.
Like I said earlier , this was the worst coaching job I have seen in college football this year(nebraska). The players won the game, the coaching almost screwed it up.
