Default FLORIDA VS LSU ///ALABAMA vs OLE MISS

    Guys Take Florida here
let me explain this Line was moved artificially first of all It went from 8 1/2 on sunday night to 6 1/2 by monday leaning you the way they wanted it to go ,
Now thats out of the way
104th in pass rush defense , now if your worried about Tebow , The score shouldnt change with him or without , Let me explain
Tebow controls the game killing the clock now dont gt me wrong his win will be more impressive , but Florida has been Number one for three years straight and if you dont thnk they got a back up quarter back that cant step right in you are wrong , but when given all day to throw the ball will give more chances to score and scoring faster will happen , Again tebow will control the clock and brantley has just been announced that he will start the game this saturday will have more possessions during the game ,
That being said many of you dont even seem to fit into your equation that Mississippi state out played LSU , throw the night game underdog record out , they lost to alabama big to alabama in 2002 as a favorite and sir isnt nearly impressive as 34-0 , your deciding factor should be could a mississippi state wear down florida in any way as they did lsu , Punt return and one other special team touchdown were given up against miss state that taken away mississippi state win and makes a statement , Pick Florida and take the gift
    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Alabama this line was expected at 12 not 6.5 I had to take several looks at this one
Through five games, McElroy has been one of the most efficient quarterbacks in the country. He’s passed for 1,086 yards with nine touchdown passes and just one interception. He’s completed 65.5 percent of his passes, which leads all SEC quarterbacks who’ve attempted more than 70 passes this season.

He’s spreading the ball around, using his tight end and running backs, and has thrown touchdown passes to six different players. He’s also completed passes of 30 yards or longer to five different players.

If any quarterback in the SEC has looked like a Heisman Trophy candidate through five games, it’s McElroy.
    Snead
Through four games, the Rebels’ junior quarterback has passed for 728 yards, nine touchdowns and five interceptions. He’s completing just 51.4 percent of his passes and looked jittery in the pocket in Ole Miss’ 16-10 loss to South Carolina.
Following that loss to South Carolina, in which Snead was sacked four times and finished 7-of-21 for 107 yards, he admitted he was searching for answers.
As I said when south carolina was my pick of the month against Ole miss when you havent played anyone you find out that ole play book doesnt work against better competition , Alabama did not have an impressive win against Kentucky but it happened to be the first away game and Nick saban mentioned in a way alabama was guilty of looking ahead , Ole miss did not help their situation playing against a mush lessor opponent Vanderbilt , what didnt work against south carolina and what did against vandy will play the way against alabama , they have no answers , the starting quarterback exact words want be much differnt 10/11/2009 , i see this game as a repeat of the Arkansas alabama game , Alabama will intimidate ole miss , guys Alabama has some real bug guys that they havent seen anything like , //////////////////////
take florida . bama , as my B.O.W. picks

LSU defensive stats can be misleading simply because if you look game to game they have improved. LSU defense at the beg. of the year struggle because they have all new coaches, and they had a whole new scheme to adjust to. But for example last week LSU held Georgia to under 60 yards rushing and shut them off the scoreboard until the 4th quarter. This LSU defense is extremely talented even Florida defense would have struugled if all there coaches would have left and they had to get a whole new coaching staff plus scheme to go along with it!

    Your stats are misleding pal!

With Brantley most likely starting in the toughest place to play football in the country please keep in mind LSU defense ranks in the top 20 in the nation in scoring defense. Brantley will have a rough time you can bet that! How can anyone bet on a QB that has never proven himself for 4 quaters ? The kid only played in mop up duty!

ZBOIZ - let's not let facts get in the way of your homerism...

Since 1980 the teams have met in Tiger Stadium 14 times.

    • Florida has won 10 of those games.
    • Florida has held LSU to 13 points or less 9 times.
    • Florida has shut them out 2 times.
    • Florida has held them to single digits 4 times (LSU has not held Florida to single digits in any of the meetings.)
    • Florida has scored 30+ points 4 times. LSU has never scored more than 28.
    • Florida has won by margins of 14 or more points 8 times (55, 29, 21, 20, 18, 16, 14, 14, 12, 3) (LSU has never won by more than 7. (7, 4, 4, 3)
10-4 dude. Do you really want to tell me that Tiger stadium is really that difficult? UF needs to play there more often.

Alabama has lost 4 games in "Death Valley" over the last 50 years, having played LSU every season except 1959-1963. Three of those four losses were in 2000, 2004 and 2006, which were three of the worst seasons Bama has had since the mid-1950s. "oooh LSU at night, I'm shaking of fright. Is it Halloween yet,... Boo!"

Everyone knows LSU lost there dominance for a long time. But those facts does'nt matter about Alabama. The fact is Brantley a guy who never played all 4 quarters will have the toughest job on his hand!! Not even Tebow was successful at winning in Death Valley! Brantley will have a job on his hand!

ZBOIZ - You are putting too much emphasis on playing at home. UF plays LSU every odd year at "Death Valley". This isn't some strange environment to the players. The majority of players have played there in 2007 and even though LSU had a much better team that year, UF still was very close to winning that game. UF actually outplayed LSU in their own back yard in that matchup. Why are you counting on a meaningless stat when the facts prove otherwise?? I mean say that you think LSU matches up better at certain positions, say that the DB's will bump in single coverage, etc. BUT don't say that LSU has some extra home field advantage then other teams. Home field advantage is just that, an advantage. How much of an advantage? Well Vegas is only going to give you 3 or 4 points. I think your using about 20 pts. Be rationale.

32 stright home field wins must speak some volumes.

But with your new little QB making the start it will be a tough task for him

I don't know how anyone can bet a game based upon a trend like 32 home night wins in a row when they've never played a team as powerful as Florida.

Boston Celtics, meet the Orlando Magic in Game 7 at the Garden where you can't lose and don't lose Game 7's. Oh, you lost?

I think you are looking at last year Florida.

Are you talking about a Florida team who was fav. by 32 points over Tennessee ? They could'nt even score 32...

you better open your eyes. This is not the 2008 Florida team this is the 2009!

oh yea almost forgot and Tennessee is not even ranked!

I have a write up on this game Rogue. It's way more reasons I'm playing LSU than Florida. And I think a lot of nation pundants are thinking like me.

100% with you on both picks line-crush-er!!!!! By the way, since when does shutting down Georgia this year become a benchmark for good defense? In my opinion, the Bama game has a better chance of being an upset but I still took Bama for obvious reasons. Florida wins by at least 13. Bama by 10. Goodluck to all.

I see it's nothing you can tell people! They are going to belive Florida is still the best team in the nation regaurdless of how they perform. What a bunch of squares. They are totally ignoring the fact that Florida could'nt even score 30 on Tennessee where they were favored by 32!

I believe Florida is the best team in the nation until someone proves me wrong. They are undefeated and the defending National Champions.

LSU hasn't done sh*t yet, the game isn't until Saturday night. So to believe that Florida is not the best team is just wishful thinking by an LSU Gomer err...Homer, at this point. Bleaux Tigers!

Gomer, when (if) they lose a game then you can boast. Until then you've got no case. Period, end of story.

bet on florida so its a win win for you the money or lsu didnt get killed or in the case lsu won and you lost a little on the game , Im guilty of making that play before on my homer , But please factor in anything I commented in about the florida game you kindo fo took over my thread when I basically took out the fat on that one and just serverd you the bacon , Florida is not miss state , beleive you me people are talking and lsu arent being talked about when it comes to who will be in the sec championship , Sec is being over looked this year again but this time i beleive it is warranted , but having the top 2 teams in a conference isnt shamefull but they are in different divisions and happen not to play each other , as a sec team fan we need florida to win so we can gurantee a sec team to the nat championship , that being said , you are being very biest with this one , bye week and a tripple threat offense playing a competitor that want be able to get to the quarterback ,, alabama 35 -lsu 10 it can be done at lsu at night but oh i forgot you guys werent dogs , see that like saying i shot that can into the garbage can 10 times and made it 6 but when i had my eyes open i did it 9 times but when someone was standing over it and alley ooping it it I did 10 out of ten , that is really a blown up stat , If iam wrong on this one i will factor it in next year against alabama when you guys plays them , now was that stat when you where white at night at home and underdogs , ok i think i got it

actually with your stat sheet they have won by more by 12 or more points . * 9 out of the last 10 times lsu won the game now that is a really impressive stat for me expecially when it averages over 20 points a win , and thats just facts jack

I will say this for my last time. Florida is not the team who you think they are. Now thats up to you go and view all there recent games this year and figure that out. I felt like I have warned a lot of people and gave them examples of how florida is not as explosive this year. But think what you want. You will find out Saturday night exactly what I'm saying.

uh hell totally screwed that one up i paused it to make sure i wrote it down right , floridas last ten wins against lsu they won by 12 or more points 9 out of the last 10 times and to add the average win over the last ten wins is over 20 points a victory

Also average in that Florida had a better offense those years! Florida offense is average!

what is that a stat , your percentage rate is not winning anything , unless your unit are added and that stat only counts in money made not a prediction rate , When I pick you should take it or wash that game if you cant come off the other side ,
Team Line crusher saturday college picks , 21- 2 , no lie just wish i had bet more during this hot streak , im sure it will end , but it want be on this game

Florida scored 31 points in the FIRST QUARTER against Kentucky - at Kentucky. WTF do you mean not explosive? Forget the Tennessee game, there were other factors involved at work in that game which is why they only tried to score enough to win.

    Default

But I will leave it alone. You will see Saturday.

Like I said earlier I tried warning people when they played Tennessee that there offense is not explosive and they were'nt going to cover the 32 point spread. Hell they could'nt score 25, how you gone give Florida a 30+ spread when there struggling to score ? Florida offense will struggle against upper talented SEC teams.
