Default A very well thought out ML Parlay

I promise you that this has a great chance of hitting, why bc most of these teams are home teams and heavy favs. Also a big plus (& most important!!) the other teams are very shitty and inconsistent. Here it goes...

NC State Wolfpack -600 for Game
    Kansas Jayhawks -1200 for Game
Texas Tech Red Raiders -700 for Game
Ohio State Buckeyes -700 for Game
Arizona State Sun Devils -1200 for Game
    Navy Midshipmen -450 for Game
    BYU Cougars -800 for Game
    Minnesota Vikings -500 for Game
    Dallas Cowboys -380 for Game
    Philadelphia Eagles -1200 for Game
    Pittsburgh Steelers -550 for Game

    risk 213/ to win 803

I cant man, and here is why,

    #1 Im a homer
#2 I dont bet on homers, unless I know they win
#3 The boys will bounce back strong against this weak ass cheifs team, this is the boys' entire season, riding on this game, they want this so they can go 3-2 before bye week

#4 I am not discouraged at 2 bad games, bc Romo is one of the best qb's in october

I'm a Cowboys fan as well and you're right about Romo and October, unfortunately we don't have a November-December back-up. I reserved forming an opinion on Romo when everyone else was doubting him but I think I have to finally be honest with myself and realize the guy while having tremendous potential just doesn't have IT. By IT I mean the confidence or internal instinct to win a big game. I truly feel it's mental with him. I think he just nuts up and is so affraid of failing he can't allow himself to succeed. Not all of Dallas' failures are Romo's fault ofcourse. We have too many guys that seem just content with making an NFL standard of living. Too bad there aren't more Marion Barbers on this team because he is an absolute true championship type player.

I find that the longer the parlay reads, your chances lessen enormously.

In other words, two or three team parlays are the only way to go bro.

In regards to the Cowboys, just look at my avatar. DIEHARD FAN for LIFE, and PESSIMIST for the sake of my health.

2, 3, 4 tm parlays are definately the way to go, but its not as hard as everybdy makes it out to be, as long as you choose the right circumstances. It wont even bother me if I lose one of these games bc I know I did the best I could preparing it, and hey thats what gambling is - taking a chance...

Hopefully they kick wade out (which jerry will) and get bill cowher or somebody really good

He has played 3.5 seasons now on some suspect teams, It took Eli, Peyton, just to name a few to win the big game. Things will cool down eventually and time will tell.

But one big note to everybody, Im still on the game for them to win bc DC may be avg, but the cheifs flat out suck.

No offense, but huge ML parlays are some of the squarest plays you can possibly make. No doubt it my mind that at least one, probably two of these teams blow it for you. This is a big time rookie play IMO, but BOL to you nonetheless.

I know the odds are stackd against me buddy, but take it this way, a ml parlay has a better chance to hit than a regular parlay...

Yes he is, but he is in a more intensified spotlight than any other qb (every acheivement and downfall is greatly exagerated), (being on the dc) still a damn good qb

And I still love the pick, considering the cheifs have 9 3rd down conversions in 4 games

Looks alright, but you would likely have a higher chance of winning a 3-team points based parlay, and get better than 4 to 1 odds.

picks your favorite 3 on that board, and go with the spread... Here, I'll help you:

    Navy -11
    Kansas -19.5
    BYU -16.5

    or

    Alabama -4.5
    NE Patriots -3
    NY Jets -1.5

There ya go, 2 winners for you at 6-1 each

The scores may not reflect it but Rice is playing better each week, and this is their 3rd home game in a row. Navy was very unimpressive against Air Force, and if you throw out their first game against Ohio State they've gone downhill since. The -11 is risky and the line movement reflects that.

Texas Tech is not as good as people think they are. The fact that Houston beat them and then was destroyed by UTEP was just more evidence to support what I suspected even before that game. They should win, but they are by no means a guaranteed win.

The Cowboys suck. I think KC or St. Louis pulls and upset for their first win this weekend, and I'm leaning towards KC because at least they can score some points. It might only take 14 to beat the Cowboys, they suck that bad (really).

The chances of covering points in 3 games are just as hard, but I see your point and the only reason I do parlays, ml p, and now a few teasers is bc Ive been pretty succesfull, otherwise I wouldnt be experimenting w such.

You make a good point about navy, however ill take beating airforce, and an almost upset over the ohio st univ over rice/no w's... Rice produces brains not atheletes lol

Texas tech at home is always strong, and Kstate is one of THE worst teams in college right now, Bill Snyder at phase 2 has a ways to go lol

As for the cheifs and the Rams THEY SUCK (their records prove it)

The cowboys are an average team that have a good shot at winning on sunday.

Im still liking my chances here guys, but hey we shall see this wkend, remember last week I hit a 10 team teaser so I may just be over confident and I may come crashing down hard, except I wont bc I only bet 2 units.

GL Roag, gotta love the avatar lol

this is not a smart way to bet. you are asking 11 games to go a certain way. think about it, out of every 11 games, how some weird results are that occur. I know you don't want to see it and are thinking doing homework is the answer, and picking a bunch of gimmes, but when you group 11 together, there's bound to be something weird happening. even if its a freak injury or something, weird stuff DOES happen, especially in the NFL.

yo, Ae I've had the same luck....last week I picked 2- 12 team ML parlays and went 11-1 in both with ****ing purdue losing to and Houston went houston losing to ****ing UTEP...this weekend I have a 10 ML parlay and a 15 team teaser and have only 3 teams left in the ML parlay with Ravens, Steelers, and Vikings...and in the 7 pt teaser I have Eagles -8.5, Cowboys -.5, Steelers, -3.5, Vikings -3.5, and raiders +22.5....dont get discouraged u'll get em next week...I'm 2/3 in 10+ ML parlays

Another perfect reason why parlays are SUCKER plays!!! This one lost in game 1. The odds are way against you. If you enjoy getting screwed by the books, then continue to play these types of parlays.
