    Default Mizzou/Nebraska Weather update

For what it's worth, it's supposed to be raining all day/night tomorrow in Columbia, MO. If that's the case, I don't think there's an angle either way on this one. I'm looking at the under though.

These two teams playing fast-pace and offense-based. I won't touch the under even though it raining

good point. I'm leaning towards Mizzou either way. I try to stay unbiased, but I really feel like Mizzou is better than they were supposed to be. If it goes above 3, I'll probably jump on it

I have not been impressed with mizzou this year. They have really played down to their opponents. Sorry, but I have my money on Nebraska.

Seeing as how Nevada ran on missouri at will I would say Nebraska can do the same.

Exactly, and they only won by 10 points. Mizzouri only beat Bowling Green by a touchdown also.....

For those that are backing mizzou, i know one of you is a homer. But have you guys watched these teams play? Mizzou is the most bullshit 4-0 team I have seen yet. Play the game in nevada ten times and you guys lose 9. You got outplayed by nevada. Nebraska almost beat Vtech and have been blowing up teams that they should blow up.

Just an overall Mizzou sports thought, we ALWAYS play to the level of our competition. Thats how we get beat by Coppin State in basketball but then beat KU.

Yeah I'm from Nebraska and a Huskers fan, but after seeing Mizzou play against Nevada and Bowling Green, I can't pass this one up. I took them at -3. No question about it!

I have to think, regardless of the rain ... Mizz O will keep them around for most of the game. This is a tough one, although maybe I'm overthinking this one.

I don't know how anyone could back Mizzou. That team is as soft as cotton. A bunch of pussies playing football. They have looked awful in all 4 of their wins. People are betting on them based on the past few years and because of their record. Their win against Illini was fraudulent because the Illini is horrible.

I promised myself to fade the shit out of Mizzou and this gift has shown up on my doorstep. I've hammered Nebraska for a G note and will probably put more if this line goes down. This is one of my biggest games of the week.

It's gonna rain all day, and by the game starts it might be worse. I'm liking the under on this one.

I am from Lincoln and I will tell u right now that the huskers are very healthy. Everyone saying that Nebraska is sick is not getting the right info. I have been watcjing missouri their last few games and they play like a high school football team. Thay have a running game that totally sucks and a quarterback that just throws the ball and hopes his recievers run under it. The Huskers D is very tough this year and they have really stepped up their offense. Now I know u guys think just because I am from Lincoln I am talkin the huskers up but I don't even like the damn corn eatin bastards. With all of that said I c the the huskers winning and doing it by 10-14 points. GOOD LUCK TO ALL!!!!!!!

I am on Nebraska just cause I think they will be able to control the game with their running attack. Is their any new updates on their RB? I believe I read yesterday that he was sick.

Remember that RAIN games are HARDER for DEFENSIVE players.

Nebraska runs SMASH MOUTH FOOTBALL........Easier to defend.

Mizzou runs that crazy spread game...........Harder on the D........especially cutting in the rain to keep up with the offensive player.............(since the offensive guy knows where he is going).

    GL Nebraska backers.........

I got 10 Units on the MIZZOU ML.

Apparently a lot of people like the UNDER. It opened at 54 and is down to 50.5. That's where I got it.

As they say "He who hesitates is lost". I hope I wasn't too late.

It seems like everyone is on Nebraska, makes me wonder.....hmmmm....Mizzou plus the points for me. I am with Smackdown on this one. As indicated by the movement of the line, the betting public is favoring NEBRASKA in this game. The betting public is correct when moving the money line in MISSOURI games 29.2% of the time over the past 3 seasons. (7-17).

Also, QB Zac Lee—The first-year starting quarterback is completing 76 percent of his passes in three home games, and 36 percent in his lone road game. Which Zac Lee shows up at Missouri? Lee said he was overly excited against Virginia Tech, not nervous, and has learned some valuable lessons from his first road game. He was nervous against Virginia Tech??? What about the tonight's game??? Anyway GL to everyone but gotta go with the home team.

COLUMBIA, Mo. -- It's one of those dark, dreary nights here that will be filled with a lot of rain for spectators at Faurot Field.

The rain has temporarily stopped, although the greater Columbia area still is awash.

More rain is expected once the game starts, but it seems like the heaviest has passed. The National Weather Service has reported that nearly 3 1/2 inches of rain have fallen in the last 24 hours.

    I could be wrong.......

But with the Mizzou spread offense...........how can the defenders for Nebraska cut with them?

Gotta take the home team in this weather.....

If it was clear and sunny..........might have to take Nebraska...........but this weather changes everthing tonight.
