Why is this number so high, nevada is not that good.

Exactly, but I'm waiting until Friday to place bet. Might catch the line at 11.5

Ok let's look at La Tech past opponents.
Navy
--- Triple Option
Auburn
--- One of SEC's top offense's
And a couple of garbage teams. Hawaii, and some D-1AA.
You face some top running teams, and your defense will suffer. But against a team with similar talent, La Tech can stop them.
Thank you for pointing out the stats, but opponents played is the crux of this discussion.

Also compare apples to apples here. As Coug pointed out Nevada has faced UNLV which you can run on. Also there was Notre Dame which you can run on and Hawaii which you can run on.
LA Tech has faced Navy and Auburn both run oriented teams which are arguably better running teams than Nevada.
I am not on the game just pointing out how numbers without match-ups can be different depending on who's looking at them.
