Don't do that. The only way to gain a real prospective on gambling is to just gain personal experience.

I've only been betting for 1 year, and I have been in the positive in NBA, and Football, by just taking my time, and cutting down on parlays. I sucked in the WNBA, but the loss didn't kill me.

Don't buy into these handicapping sites, but just look for all the free info you can. Check out these sites COVERS.com / TheSpread.com / sportsinsights.com / and here(SBR). Over time you will find your own angles, and own prospective.

Bet low amounts of money when starting off, and think about how long you would like to bet; whole seasons, only playoffs, only weekends. Just dont be a chaser, and a exclusive parlayer. Those guys dont last. Except RoagBettor, he is a unique case.

Follow my plays this week also, I plan on winning, like the rest of us. HAHA

I agree paying for picks is a bad way to go. there are plenty of decent guys with a good knowledge of the games on a few forums around. Be patient and you can learn alot from watching and gain your own experience and develope what works for you. If service plays are that important to you there are sites where you can find service plays that members post for all. Keep in mind they are posted to track hot streaks but mainly to expose the bad results.

I kinda figured that was the response I was going to get here. I have been getting hammered with my local guy ... just can't seem to find the right side the past few days.

So judging by the thread for tonight's game, one can make a case for either side ... Troy or MTS. Is the over a better bet? I like Troy but I just don't think they are 7pts better that MTS.

Dont bet the game because you are not getting any value on the spread. It opened at -4.5. So now you are betting into a line that has already been hammered by the sharps, and public.

Troy is more talented, and has played better comp this year. This will give them a decisive advantage. Plus they are at home, and that has been money in the Sun Belt.

But back to my initial statement. There's no value, those who still want to bet this game have missed the boat on the best line.

Your best bet is looking at the TOTAL. I took the UNDER 56, in a points challenge. I laid no money on the game, so think of it what you want.

Thats about my speed also. Just downloaded a new app that just shows the scores.
