Default Two questions regarding Florida at LSU

What do you expect LSU's offense to do against Florida's defense?

31 points in the 1Q against Kentucky. LOL not explosive.

They played a conservative game against Tennessee, you can't go by that game. Tebow never threw the ball downfield. They had their reasons to not run it up, but if they had opened up the offense they could have scored 40+ easily. Even Auburn exploited Tennessee's defense.

    FLORIDA'S SCHEDULE SO FAR

    9/05 Charleston Southern 1-0 (0-0) W 62-3
    9/12 Troy 2-0 (0-0) W 56-6

    9/26 @ Kentucky 4-0 (2-0) W 41-7

    LSU'S SCHEDULE SO FAR
    DATE OPPONENT W-L (CONF) RESULT
    9/05 @ Washington 1-0 (0-0) W 31-23
    9/12 Vanderbilt 2-0 (1-0) W 23-9
    9/19 Louisiana-Lafayette 3-0 (1-0) W 31-3
    9/26 @ Mississippi State 4-0 (2-0) W 30-26
    10/03 @ No. 18 Georgia 5-0 (3-0) W 20-13

Has LSU played a tougher schedule thus far.....certainly

have they looked good on offense doing it? Certainly not
have they looked dominating on defense doing it? gave up 26 to Miss. St. 23 to Washington, so the answer sir is....................certainly not

So yes, Florida has not played a tough schedule but they've dominated every team (except for one score wise, but actual gameplay they dominated)

Meanwhile LSU has struggled mightily with a bad Miss. St. team, a below average Washington team, and an average Georgia team (your only argument can be AND SHOULD BE but you can't connect dots) is that those games were all on the road

Tebow and that defense didn't return to lose to LSU. They will be up for this game especially after the last 2 games and the extra week to prepare. Like unleashing tigers on raw meat (pun intended).

Urban Meyer and Charlie Strong with 2 weeks to prepare is money in the bank, with or without Tebow. This game will not be close. LSU's offense is anemic (only 20 pts against UGA???). Unless your capping home field at +20, this won't be close.

This made me laugh. How do you think Florida's offense will move against LSU's defense Mac?

LSU's weakness on defense is their front 4. UF's read option is the best in the business. UF doesn't have to pass the ball 50 times a game because it is primarily a run first team. UF runs many different plays off of a basic dive read. I think LSU is going to have a lot of difficulties stopping the run. Also don't slip on our passing game, especially the TE Hernandez. He's a matchup problem for any team and maybe the best TE still playing this year.

LSU held Georgia to under 50 yards rushing. Also the read option will be easier to defend with Tebow not 100%. Trust me Tebow will not carry the ball like he usually does. I think Urban knows LSU has a hard hitting defense.

Z...............you can't seriously compare Georgia's rushing attack this season with that of Florida's. I don't think you will find even a diehard Dawg's fan who would say they are remotely close to the same.

If Tebow does not play Florida has no chance. Urban's offense is predicated on the threat of a run by the QB. Brantley is a drop back QB, and easier to play against since the option is not a threat.

Both of these teams are amongst the most talented in the nation. The list including USC, Texas, Oklahoma, Miami, Alabama, etc...

The problem with LSU is that they are an AAU All-star team, with an AAU coach(sub-standard).

Just wait until we hear about Tebow's status, then bet it accordingly.

Drop back passer, that will give LSU an advantage, since they don't have to worry about the option.

if teebow plays, i hope lsu knocks him unconscious so he won't be able to play football anymore--this happens in a clean play though.

Whats Good Mac? Naw I'm not betting, or leaning either way. I'm on the computer watching Farve kill the Packers, so I figured I'd offer up some info on each team.

Like I said earlier, "I'm watching, not betting, so I can enjoy a potentially epic matchup."

Epic? No offense Houli, but LSU is not even a Top 10 team. Epic would be Florida/Texas.

Top 3 talent though, so sky is the limit in this game. All the top talent in the SEC, outside of Alabama, is playing in this game.

If LSU had a QB worth a damn, they could score 40 pts a game easy. But shit QB play, coupled with sub-standard coaching hinders this teams potential.

All that said, both of these teams have been waiting for this matchup. All the games on CBS tend to be epic anyway.
