If you don't know by now, Pags has been temporarily banned from posting and is currently considered a "Restricted User" by SBR forum. This thread is designed to gauge public opinion regarding his reinstatement. It's not a personal statement by me. Please post your thoughts here.

what a joke if SBR banned Pags cause of morons like JJ asking for it I'm done here. He's one of the few people that actually contribute to SPORTS HANDICAPPING....JJ throws out horrible picks once in a while but in general he's here to make videos and entertain people. This is a sports betting website and if one of the hardest working cappers has been banned then THIS SITE HAS OFFICIALLY JUMPED THE SHARK

A few things first.

I never take this stuff THAT seriously. I went to war with Pags---but I actually enjoyed it. It is tough to get offended or hurt by a few words being written about me by guys I don't know---and will never meet.

Having said that. I don't want anyone----including Pags---to be permanently banned.

If Pags does come back----I would be surprised. He has always maintained SBR needs him more than he needs SBR.

Coming back would mean that he obviously needs this place. It may even be somewhat humaliating for Pags to come back.

I am curious---if any of you were banned, would you come back?

If Pags can read this----I honestly hope he does come back. Hell, I would even buy him a beer and laugh at this stuff. I just hope he can do the same.

I'm a newbie here,I have only been here short time.I think pags is a class act,he works hard and long on his game analysis with little reward for his effort.Pags seems like a stand up guy,always there to answer questions from others politly and intelligently.I for one don't think it was only pages plays people came into his thread for,the man has humility,he is well liked,I think this is why some forum members (not all)get pissed with the attention he gets.It takes the spotlight off them with all the sideshow bullshit no one cares about.Just my two cents

Pags was provoked, but in all honesty he crossed a few lines. He should be allowed to come back, but there are going to be posters here that poke him with a stick just so they can get a reaction from him. The only way for it to end amicably is for both sides to lighten up...and I don't see that happening...at least not right off the bat.

It is a disgrace what has happened to Pags, he didn't start this crap and was quite within his rights to fight back yet he gets banned and the guys continually bashing him get away with it. Hey CB..I didn't know Pags was even gone. BANNED for doing the sane thing. Hard to even think of this happening! Pags brings alot more to the table then most of us here. His research on games is above anybody. To be banned,from here because of these kids getting on their parents computers and bashing him for whatever reason is pitiful. I joined last year and have enjoyed reading his write-ups and comments his has for many of the people who respect his work, myself included. Maybe him being gone for a bit will help people realize what he does here, his for him enjoyment we are just lucky to see it!!!

Flaghunter, yes...you make a good point...others have as well. I posted this thread to try and gauge public opinion on the forum. It seems as though posters on the forum are overwhelmingly in favor of a Pags return. I can't say I disagree. He brought a lot to his posts. I personally love to cap games and post my picks, but Pags always took it to another level. Even those who found his recent hard-edge responses to those ripping on him have come here to voice their appreciation for the amount of work he put into his picks. Sometimes it's not about write-ups, or even results, sometimes it's about humility and what's best for the forum. We all know that Pags being here is what's best for the forum. At the end of the day, that's what matters.

Seems like the mods have kind of left Pags to fend for himself against some haters in his thread this year. Last season was almost totally drama free because any trolls were quickly removed. Certain posters contribute nothing positive to the forum except trying to provoke respected guys like Pags and for some reason they are allowed to stay.
