Default BYU vs Utah. -24 , too much?

What do you guys make of the BYU Utah St. game?

    the SPread is 24 points...

is this too high for BYU?

does UTah state suck that much?

    Default No

Utah state hung tough with Utah in the opener and really aren't that bad. Staying away but if I had to pick I'd take Utah State and the pionts. And historically has been close games played between the two. And everyone is still thinking off the upset that BYU pulled on OK. BYU has beaten no one really. Man I think I just talked my own self into this play.

yeah, Utah St burned me in the first game of the season. I think Utah were favored by 20.5 and only won by 18...and besides look what FSU did to them in their house! I'd take the points if I were to play, but I'm not. GL!

the Aggies’ offense has performed well so far in 2009 as they are averaging 33.3 points per game, including 5.4 yards per rush attempt, 8.3 yards per pass attempt and 6.7 yards per play against teams that combine to allow just 27 points per game, 4.4 yards per rush play, 7.6 yards per pass play ands 5.8 yards per play to mediocre offensive squads. And, Utah State should have success moving the ball against a BYU defense that has allowed 38.5 points per game at home this season, including 4.9 yards per rush play, 6.1 yards per play and 12.3 yards per point. Let’s also note that Utah State is a profitable 5-1-1 ATS in the first of consecutive road games, whereas the Cougars are a terrible 1-5 ATS after facing Colorado State and 1-6 ATS as favorites of 21 point or more.

Invest on - Any team (Utah State) - with a horrible scoring defense - allowing 35 or more points per game, after a win by 17 or more points.

Take Utah State and invest with confidence.

Investment Advice: While I am releasing this game early, I would be patient before investing on Utah State as nearly 80% of the public is favoring BYU and, accordingly, you should be able to get a better line before Friday night.

HC Gary Andersen, as I viewed, would've been good for some underdog covers against his former team, rival from the state of Utah, and his other formers Mountain West cohorts.

There's a vast talent difference in this game, but I feel he'll (Andersen) have the Aggies prepared to keep it fairly competitive against BYU.

sorry, i don't follow lines as closely as many here, but hasn't this line come WAY DOWN................ i absolutely loved utah state higher up. still like them here too, but you are getting into "comfortable BYU win" territory

This is why I enjoy playing actual parlay cards at a casino. I play a lot of dogs, and when the line starts to match what I'd consider a viable reverse with all factors considered, I can still take advantage of those original underdog lines.

Count me as another one...seen all the info about why not to bet them but going with my gut. As much as 70% of the public have been on BYU so I dont know whether the aggies are just a sexy pick on this board.

ps: know i said i wasnt going to play above but after the 3 horrendous beats ive taken this week i figure my luck may just change!

Stay away from the spread. The better bet is the under (63.5) in this game.
