    Default Thursday USM @UAB

Well looking forward to seeing this game~

Lines have opened at USM -10 o/u 59.5

I really like the way USM plays football, they did a terrific job against Kansas @ Kansas last week, had an opportunity to steal the game.

UAB, I can truly say that I am unfamiliar with, however, I see there defense is somewhat suspect, especially against the pass...

    Early Leans, USM and over

Scratch the initial leans, looks like Fletcher and Brown are out for USM, that would be their top RB and WR....gotta do some digging

Although it looks like the backups might be enough, will wait to see what the line does

Well UAB pretty much has the worse defense in the country statistically. They are 116th in total defense and 111th in Points allowed. Troy beat them by 13 and the Aggies destroyed them. On the other hand USM beat UCF, Virginia and played Kansas very tough. Although I don't think Kansas is as good as some think. I like Southern Miss but not sure if I will play it or not.

It's noted that Damion Fletcher and DeAndre Brown will, in all likelihood, be out, but Austin Davis is the key cog here for So. Miss' offense.

The backup RB, Floyd, will be very comparable for what their attack has been turned into in the past few weeks; the 'backs have been largely weapons in the passing game.

The Virginia game nonwithstanding, So. Miss' defense is legitimate and will, in my opinion, start to show its true colors in this game.

If Joe Webb can be relatively stymied, then it's pretty much over for UAB.

some early miscues in the first half against Virginia kinda put the defense in a rough spot, they played well in the 2nd half...really liking USM

Lots of money on USM and the line has moved down a shade....starting to wonder a little bit

This was a 70-14 game last year, I don't think UAB has improved much from last year. Taking USM -9.5, even without 2 starter.

I got uab and over for 1 unit haha I don't know anything about college Football but I know if 2 starter get injured haha why bet on them? Doesn't make sense

fletcher ad brown will not matter here. It is not the offense which will make the difference her it is the usm defense, and the lack of uab and there defense usm covers the 10.5 in a blowout win

I like UAB at home getting the points. S.Miss just lost a tough game to Kansas on the road and now they are on the road again...with some injuries..

I think S.Miss wins but I think UAB will hang around and cover this one.
