I don’t consider this a smart decision on my part but I have to try something. Generally I take my computer spreadsheet plays and with my own opinion decide my plays. Last year this worked fine, for whatever reason I had a good feel for what was going on and this system worked. It’s not working so far this season. I think I’m not being objective enough or being a little too awed by what I have seen.

This week I’m taking myself out of the equation. I am going with the program selections only. I’m not sure how this will work because I still think some of the rankings and ratings that go into the program are still skewed by certain wins and losses of a couple teams. It can’t do much worse than I have done for the past 4 weeks.

Plays:

Hawaii +3.5* (Program has them as a 7 point favorite.)
West Virginia -17* (Program has them as a 21 point favorite.)
Pittsburgh -6.5* (Program has them as an 11 point favorite.)
Tulane +6.5* (Program has them as a 1 point favorite.)
South Florida -7* (Program has them as a 17 point favorite.)
Wisconsin +3* (Program has them as a 5 point favorite.)
Michigan pk* (Program has them as a 6 point favorite.)
Washington +13.5* (Program has them at only a 4 point dog.)
Central Michigan -8.5* (Program has them as a 14 point favorite.)
Auburn +1.5* (Program has them as a 4 point favorite.)


I do have my concerns about a couple of the games being heavy public favorites as the week progresses. Namely West Virginia. South Florida, Michigan, Central Michigan and Auburn. We’ll see how it goes.

I will be taking a serious look at Pittsburgh this week (even though they burned me last week) and Washington. GL this week Wal...WVU seems like too many points but I haven't done great on Weeknight games this year so who knows.

Coug, I took it on the chin last week with Pitt as well. Like I said last week I never have any luck on wither side of Pitt games. I would have stayed clear of them this week but as I said I am going strickly on the program this week.

The program didn't have a good week last week either by the way as it was 6-9.

My own personal opinion I like Central Michigan and West Virginia the most of all the plays, so that should tell ya that those two games are the weakest. LOL.

0-2, off to am impressive start. Never even close on Hawaii and brutal game all around with West Virginia.

Well I played one and not the other so only 1-0 this week on the night games instead of the 2-0 had I played my hunch (too many points for WVU)...anyway I hope Pitt hits for us tonight. Long way to go and I think that Washington game is a winner...GL the rest of the week wal

gonna end up 6-4 for the week. central michigan not covering was the only one that really bugged me. better than 1-3 like last week though.
