No doubt you are right that causing turnovers is just as important as scoring touchdowns, but a good team committing six turnovers against an average-to-decent team tells us that:
1: The average-to-good team played a whale of a ballgame. Congrats!
2: Compared to their standard performance history, the good team underperformed and threw away the game.
Three or four turnovers is a bad game. Six turnovers is an anomaly. WVU won't turn it over six times in one game again this season and probably won't turn it over four or five times in one game, either.
They're a very good team. Not great, not coached exceptionally well, but a very good team.
