    Default IU-Akron...

IU has to be the play here. Akron's starting QB was suspended, and this line should close at pick'em. (Currently IU +3 -115) This line has to do with the perception of IU. I think IU wins this SU.

    Thanks for the update.

But are you a student at IND U?-- is this is a homer pick?

I will be watching this line movement and taking AKR -2.5 or ML.

No. The loss of Jacquemain is really key, imo.

I would take Akron to be honest. I'm an IU fan (much more basketball than football) but IU has been terrible this year so far. They've barely squeaked by Eastern Kentucky (19-13) and Western Michigan (23-19) at home. I would have no confidence taking them against anyone on the road.

    Just my two cents.

My understanding of both of those games is that IU had the opportunity to blow them out, and let both hang around. Also, Akron hasn't exactly shown much. I think everyone is understating the fact that Akron just lost one of the top MAC quarterbacks. The second-stringer has seen a hardly any action in his time with Akron.

I understand the point you're making. But the kid starting tomorrow for AKR is not some total scrub. This could end up a disaster for AKR or it could end up a huge success. SYRACUSE started one of their NCAAB players at QB this season and look how that has turned out! (SYR: 2-0 ATS)

This 2nd string quarterback doesn't have to be a top MAC QB, to beat out IND U.

I think it's too dangerous to play IND U to beat anyone, let alone on AKR's home field.

Yes, but the difference is that Paulus took the snaps with the first team in spring, fall, and was expected to be the starter. It's not that comparable to being thrown into the fire. Also, have a look at IU's historical record against mac opponents. The two games last year were the first losses to mac opponents in the programs history.

I'm just warning you guys thinking about taking IU. I see a 7-13 point win for Akron tomorrow...

Thanks guys! 38-21 final with a late garbage time TD to Akron. Also, 4 Int's for Akron's QB.

I like them against Virginia. I think they have an outside chance at Michigan, depending on which Michigan shows up. Illinois, NW are also possibilities.

Once they start losing they will not win another game

They will get blown out in their next 2 and just crumble

    Horrible coach
