Is MTSU really a ten point dog? Didn't Maryland almost lose to James Madison last week...at home?

Solid picks this week. I am a little worried about MSU though. I think ND is going to want to prove that they are better then they looked against Mich. and MSU pass D is not very good.

Phillip Tanner is out for MTSU will hurt their run game.

Good scoop. I'll check it out. I was upset that Bodog didn't have this game yet, but maybe not so upset now.

If I had to take a chance on another game, I'm probably looking at Cincy. I would like to see the Bearcats getting points, not sure if I like them that much as favorites on the road. I also like Temple getting 28.5 from PSU. They should at least be able to match what atrocious Syracuse did, and PSU might be in a lull against another seriously inferior opponent.

I'm going to stay away from that MTSU game.

I've added one more two unit game: Tulsa +17.5

I've also added two one unit games:
    ECU +7.5
    Washington +19.5

    And one .5 unit game:
    Cincinnati -1

So that makes my Saturday dance card look like this:

    TWO UNIT GAMES

    Boston College +7
Usually BC is OVERRATED. It seems the opposite for the post-Ryan era Eagles. Strong running game should give BC a chance to win this game on the field
    Michigan State +10
MSU has beaten ND SU at ND Stadium six times in a row dating back to 1993 and 9 of the last 12. Revenge factor is overrated. MSU needs this win as badly as ND to earn back national respect after dropping a game to CMU last week. This is a field-goal type game either way. I believe in Charlie Weis about as far as I can throw him, and I haven't tossed 400 lbs very far lately.
    Northwestern -3.5
Pat Fitzgerald is one of the most underrated coaches in the country... his defense is going to make Paulus wish he was in Durham.
    N. Illinois +13
Classic let-down game after losing a very winnable game at Oregon for Purdue who was picked to finish last in the Big Ten. Jet lag and heart lag sets in this week as Purdue comes back to Earth quickly.
    Tulsa +17.5
Looks solid, lots of talk about this one

    ONE UNIT GAMES
    E. Carolina +7.5 (Played a decent game @WVU, UNC's O-Line decimated by injuries, TE out)
Washington +19.5 (USC's QB mess and impressed w/ UW's play against LSU)

    .5 UNIT GAME
Cincy -1 (I would have taken this game much larger if not for the swing in the spread. Kelly just seems to win big games. This is a real statement game for the Bearcats.)

    Week 3: 4-3 (1 unit)
Couldn't have been more wrong about BC and Tulsa. I was dead on for MSU and NIU. NWern had the ball and was up 7 in the fourth (ugh). Otherwise, maybe I should take Wal's advice and not step down units... would have been a winning week...
