Thanks for the props! I appreciate it. As a rule, I bet on teams that I've watch play. And I try to watch the games that don't get national attention. I remember I listened to the Hawaii game on the radio in week one, just to get an idea of what they were about. I'll be looking out for next week's schedule and make my five picks again. Hopefully I'm on it like I was this weekend.
Other than that, I have an interesting system play based on Sunday Night Football and the O-line of the home team. I noticed that if you bet the teams that the starting O-line of the home team, you'd be ahead. Conversely, if you had bet the D-line of the away team, you'd be on the losing side in total.
I found that to be really interesting. In light of that, next week sees Indy @ Arizona. And here is what we have:
Arizona's starting O-line are:
Gandy - Notre Dame
Wells - Clarion
Sendlein - Texas
Lutui - USC
Brown - Penn St.
All that being said, I plan on tracking bets based on their college teams and take the points spread. There's of course no bet on Clarion.
Conversely, you might fade Indy's starting D-line, which would be:
Brackett - Rutgers
Wheeler - Georgia Tech
Session - Pittsburgh
Freeney - Syracuse
Mathis - Alabama A&M
I'll keep you updated. Again, there's no bet on Alabama A&M.
