putting up big numbers 2 weeks in a row.
Bobo figured out we have recievers on the team and dont have to feed Samuel up the middle 30 times a game.

They have the 2nd most explosive offense in the SEC when the Qb is on. Even when he's off they are dangerous. Have a ton of weapons... AJ Green is an eventual first round stud and the other wrs are burners. Thought the backs picked up the blitz very well tonight...Cox had time to throw the ball. Samuel has great speed and hits the hole hard, but doesn't cut, make moves, or hold onto the ball well.

Defensively it's all about getting pressure on the Qb. The secondary is young overall. UGA is going to have some skewed run defense stats. I still don't understand the playcalling most of the time. Not ready to call the OSU game a fluke, but I think the last two games are closer to the true UGA team than the OSU game was. They should handle Arizona State next week...unless they can find a pass rush, teams with any kind of passing attack are going to push them.

the playcalling seemed much improved this game. Bobo took shots down field all game. Maybe he was waiting for Cox to get some confidence. IDK.
Honestly I didnt think Cox had it in him to compete in this league regardless what we seen a few years ago against Colorado.
He still made some bad decisions but thats expected from what is really a Freshman or Sophomore playing in a Seniors body. ( if that makes sense)
Defense still has me worried, too many mis coverages by the secondary. Either that or a bad scheme. But when GA had a dominate defense in the past it was based on pressure on the QB along with big hitters. ie. Greg Blue, Thomas Davis.
I still think Richt can find a better DC than WM, whether he has the balls to fire him or not.
WM needs to be in the AFL2 next yr IMO.

We'll find out how good they are when LSU rolls around b/t the hedges.


with that said I expect them to come out flat next week like the GA I've grown to know and love.
From 1 week to the next can be total opposites along with playing 2 barn burner emotional games in back to back weeks.

I agree. I can't imagine Richt can keep WM at this pace. Maybe a head coaching job at a nearby D1aa school will open up and WM can gracefully exit. I've heard rumors that UGA is already trying to talk to Kirby Smart. Being an UGA grad, he'd probably like to coach there and Saban isn't easy to work for. One thing Richt has going for him is that he treats his assistants well. We'll see.

As for next week, UGA will probably play down a little. The defense still has a lot to prove though, so at least they should be motivated
